without autocorrect everything i type is in lowercase because it requires less effort think of all of the time and effort you wasted in life hitting the shift key why also punctuation

Counter argument:

Unless you are writing for yourself, then you are communicating with others. If you want others to be able to understand what you are saying, then you would benefit from doing what every presenter is taught to do for any event or slide deck - cater to your audience. In the case of long form written media, that means using punctuation and capitals.

and also why should we care about readers i mean they should be able to parse and backtrack through my sentences to figure out where one thought ends and another begins run on sentences are just propoganda by big puncutation and big english to sell more periods and why bother with roppper spelling or grammer it get in the way you can probably just infer what im trying to get at here so why should i expend any effor tto make life easier for my readers
WHY WITH VERY LITTLE EFFORT YOU CAN USE CAPSLOCK IT GETS MORE ATTENTION AND YOU CAN STILL ABSTAIN FROM PUNCTUATION

Why? Because it makes reading significantly easier
I worked with a fellow who didn't believe me that the shift key upper-cased letters. The slippery slope continues sliding ever downwards.
Is this an attempt at performance art on HN? (given a couple of the replies)

Very brave.
