Aren't NDAs, by definition, supposed to be restrictive and punitive.

It shouldn't be surprising that these are extra restrictive either.. their core mission is to beat others to market because they think they will be morally superior. Of course that means highly restrictive and punitive NDAs.

The people that work at OpenAI are smart. They knew what they were getting themselves into.

The media is trying so hard to make a brouhaha out of this.


Is it common for a CEO to not know that their NDAs are highly restrictive and punitive?
No such thing as a moral org that values secrecy that highly.
