I was using WSL for awhile and some things weren't quite right. So I figured out a way to unleash the full power of Ubuntu:

I installed Ubuntu and stopped using Windows.

Have they got IPv6 (or at least ethernet bridging, so at least it would work if you are hardwired and not on WiFi) working yet? That's why I'm still on WSL1.

I mean it's windows, the home of bloatware, it goes in line with their vision with WSL

It's a missed opportunity to come up with something lighter and more sane.. too bad

They hired the systemd dev, so i guess it's in their plan

I don't think it'll be good, everything they built so far is a slow and bloated piece of poop, however, will it be interesting? probably yes

Yeah, seems like all the new WSL stuff is Windows 11 only; I guess Microsoft views it as an incentive to switch.
