Does this address that once I am at 1% I charge it up to 5% in order to stay on the chat all the time?
It should turn the chat off while charging, of course.

I like this. It sort of simulates requiring a wired connection for communication.
If you have a rooted android phone you can spoof the battery level and chat forever...
