- Most comments are "we have to do this or that (things that have been repeated a thousand times) but it depends on politicians, nobody is doing anything, we are doomed, it's not really that hot in a timeline of thousand of years, we need CO2 sequestration, we need to plant trees", blablabla.
We could post comments using Markov chains and nobody would notice, everything would get upvoted
- Using != abusing. Camping in a public space means taking part of it for yourself, permanently. In other words, you're taking away the right of the rest of citizens of using that part of public space.
Defecating is a public health issue, too.
- I don't trust either. Just saying that Mozilla doesn't have a "proven record".
- Seems incredible to me that people keep thinking that intelligent people have to share the western liberal view of the world that we all have been indoctrinated under.
- How else would I read this particular post?
Also it's not like Tumblr was like this when this post was, er, posted. It was pretty nice to browse.
- Wealth is useless. I bet Spaniards have more wealth because they own houses instead of renting. But that's some wealth they can't touch. What are they going to do, live under a bridge?
"poor" is simply a generic term, personally I think it's income what defines if you live a poor's life or a rich's life.
- Sending the full history to an ad company by default is not a "stupid or bad decision". It goes well beyond that.
- >Germans are poorer than most other Europeans (even than Spaniards and Italians)
You get to read some things here that you don't know whether to laugh or cry.
- This topic is to HN what bees was to Reddit. An endless stream of karma-grabbing comments that don't really add anything new to the conversation.
- You live in the XP days.
- Sorry to tell you that you simply have no idea of what you're talking about.
- Mozilla has a proven record of remotely installing extensions on your browser to advertise TV shows[0] and sending your entire browsing history to a third party ad company[1]. A clean record indeed.
