   It is not debatable. Palestine is a recognized member so according to the law they have jurisdiction. If these laws have any usefulness if no one will follow it is debatable though.

   Fake as in, they're not allowed to call it "old cheese" because it's a protected term for cheese of a minimum age. But it might even be preferred by some because the texture is still a bit softer. I like it, but as with a good single malt, I wouldn't pay the same price if it's artificially aged.

    Does anyone know how/if using BTC as daily currency works in practice? Can El Salvadorians just add it to their Google Wallet?

    I don't know much about cryptocurrencies but there seems to be a scaling issue, last thing I read it can only handle 7 transactions/s, is that still valid?

    If so, then how would this scale to a country-wide payment system?

    I know c# is not the coolest kid on the blcok, but my pick would be Blazor. Since it's all based on .net it's mature, performant, stable (finally, now with .net 8), long term support, great tooling and readily available strategies for testing, configuration, deployment, debugging etc.

    And because I'm so tired of NPM/JavaScript (UI) frameworks reinventing themselves with new name every 6 months.

    Battery life, screen quality, performance.. It has of course all this super annoying bloatware you can't remove but some of the extra features were actually quite good and I miss those now (close all apps, how to create screen recordings and screenshot, etc).

    Yeah it was a forced by a US policy on a wider Huawei ban, which I think is more a "protect our companies" motivation.

    I recently bought a Pixel 7 after my Huawei P30 pro broke.

    The older Huawei model is so much better than the newer Pixel that it makes you think why they don't allow them to access the Play store anymore.

    I just remembered many old analog electrical ovens had this already , the only way to turn on the oven is by setting a timer (and when you needed it on for many hours you had to set another timer for yourself to remember to extend the oven timer ).

    I've bought a pair of toe socks some time ago and will definitely buy more.

    I've also started to wear barefoot shoes with widened toes some years ago, and I can't go back to my 'normal' business shoes anymore, my feet start hurting within an hour because my toes positions started to be more parted.

    Running with them is quite challenging though, the technique to land on the front of your feet required to minimize shocks on the knees and hips but a lot more strain on the calves.

    You could try C# (or Kotlin if you have a MS bias ;-)). Both really nice general purpose languages, quite performant despite having a GC and great available tooling.

    Airplane bodies and engines are normally managed and maintained as separate assets and often exchanged AFAIK.

    Not sure what fitting a different engine type would do to the (re)certification/airworthiness though, that might introduce a whole other bunch of bureaucratic difficulties.

    They absolutely search your suitcase purely based on race/appearance. Given how often I've sat in the interrogation rooms with EU passport holders with an arab background, and they really only came over to visit the beach.

    How you justify racial profiling, only show that you are completely clueless to what it's like being racially profiled ALL the time.
