- Exactly. But I'd love to hear what the next step after dokku is. But maybe it's just moving the db to another, separate vps, and spinning up more instances of the service all pointing at that db instance, with all of that using dokku.

- Just suggesting because I don't see it here: foreign language group classes. I would say groups are pretty good for beginner level. But you are trading a bit of learning efficiency for the social aspect, arguably
- Not sure where I read it, but I think it's useful to have your 0th iota value be a not valid value, or as your empty/zero value for the enum. Maybe in the planet example you have "Space" or "Nothingness" as your 0 value

- I've started recently, for an adult absolute beginner I would recommend: Alfred's Basic Adult All-In-One Piano Course (covers all types of music). A popular alternative is the Faber Adult Piano Adventures (more classical). Both books will go over how to position your wrists and fingers, music theory, as well as pieces.
I'm sure Alfred and Faber have books for kids. Check reddit and amazon. But you won't go wrong with books from either probably.
To accompany the books, there are videos where people go over the pieces from the books as a piano teacher. I recommend this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4gizue_ULg&list=PL8hZtgRyL9..., but just search the book name + piece name
Lastly since you're both learning, look into duet books and utilize the split mode on your piano

- Any magazines worth subscribing to still, tech focused or not? I literally only get spam and christmas card from mom in my mailbox.
- In the Mozart biography that I'm reading, it talks about how the opera during his time was much more social: people openly chatted, played cards, and were busy catching eyes during the show. It was a seen or be seen type of social affair, or something to do to pass the time. It was the job of the composer to draw attention from that other stuff to the show and singers.
All this puffed up pomposity around opera or classical we currently deal with is much different than in the "hey-days".
