A next good move would be releasing old, unused email addresses for others to claim (or even bid for, as X and Proton did). Although this would probably mean opening up another huge rabbit hole, which Google likely won’t be bothered to deal with anyway, so……Meh.
- Just curious. What changed?
From merely browsing through a few comments, people have mostly positive opinions regarding this proposal. Then why did it fail many times, but not this time? What drives the success behind this PEP?
- In 2017, long before AI tools like ChatGPT, I built Tubee—a platform that tracks YouTube channels, delivers real-time updates, and organizes playlists. No AI, no shortcuts—just code, APIs, and figuring everything out from scratch.
I wrote about the journey, the tech stack, the trade-offs, and lessons learned. I’d love feedback on both the project itself and the way I wrote about it—what resonates, what could be clearer.
