  1. What will make development sustainable? I mean it could take some time until it gets trackson and also usually open source works if there is a supporting company behind it.
  2. It would be great to see a business model behind it too. You had to manufacture all the products in a factory and every product would be breaker down to the very basics. This was my idea for ages but never started to build it...
  3. My favorite podcast in this topic is from Jupiter Broadcasting : https://www.jupiterbroadcasting.com/show/self-hosted/
  4. You can use also the open-source Uptime Kuma for this (actually for almost everything else what UptimeRobot knows)

    https://github.com/louislam/uptime-kuma

  5. If the ownership is with the publishing studio then AFAIK they pay the producing, distribution and promotion. It is an investment into the artist, so they shouldn't have these costs.
  6. Project seems to be dead.
  7. How much time would it take to make this available for public?
  8. Calling this Europe data when you're comparing data from 5 European cities is a bit exaggerated. We have 44 countries in Europe and even within a country there can be significant differences.
  9. Rare-metals used in batteries are much problematic then steel and Al.
  10. The electrical grid is not capable to fill the role for the electrification of all cars. The current gas distribution is suitable for hydrogen too.
  11. Hydrogen fueled cars are also electric. They are not that far.
  12. would be interested how this works out. I was working with people this way but it turned out people don't do logical decisions, they decide basic on assumptions which may not be true. somebody with a charismatic personally was always better to sell ideas and decision was not based on evidence.
  13. The marked dates disappear when I try to print the page (FF98.0.1, Mac). Actually when I push Cmd-P the years decrease with one every time.
  14. I am using Thunder Client too, it totally replaced Postman for me. I really like it.
  15. The problem with gamification is that everybody will try to game the gamification system.
  16. Maybe he wants to make other aware of the strange things TP-Link does. Which is a huge help, now I won't buy any TP-Link device either unless I can reflash it with OpenWRT
  17. As far as I know vaccinated people (like myself) can also spread the virus, the vaccination helps only your immune system to combat the disease. So don't blame the unvaccinated for this. But I'm with you in the medical care part, vaccinated people should get priority. But they won't...
  18. As soon as I saw the guy moving and jumping I immediately recognized the Prince!
  19. Oh, now I will have to check whether I still have the QBasic code somewhere which I wrote to generate a savegame so I can start on any of the levels and I could set unlimited lives.
  20. No harm that time. But if it does not gets noticed what happens next time? He takes his friends? Or gets into another properly where he gets hurt? THe more disturbing is that such a matter can cost your school and scholarship. That's not the lawyers or the posters fault.
  21. From the ICO page https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/guide-to-pecr/cookies-a...

This means you are unlikely to need consent for:

cookies used to remember the goods a user wishes to buy when they add goods to their online basket or proceed to the checkout on an internet shopping website; session cookies providing security that is essential to comply with data protection security requirements for an online service the user has requested – eg online banking services; or load-balancing cookies that ensure the content of your page loads quickly and effectively by distributing the workload across several computers.

  22. Wondering how many car dashboards have place for a phone _plus_ this Spotify device.
  23. This would be huge. Whenever I find a movie to watch it turns out none of the streaming providers host it.
  24. If you think on another level, like individual people it is decentralized network fully. Everybody is an own individual doing what they want.
  25. You had a contract with them. Just by simply not paying the fee does not mean canceling the contract usually. Which I am grateful.
  26. Notion wanted to be this I think. But it knows really few for a spreadsheet, it isn't enough flexible for a database, it is not really set up for writing (because of the blocks, at least for me...) and it is slow for note taking. Also they still do not have offline working and you cannot back up properly.
  27. Any plans to create it for the other countries? with partial search maybe?
  28. Verification email comes from another name and domain. Would be worth to sync it with the app name. I almost did not find it.
  29. Last time I check Outlook for Windows had 4% popularity among our customers and Word as render engine. Actually everything broke what other standard mail clients could handle. We had to make a lot of idiot changes because of Outlook in the content. We still have sometimes issues but if the rendering brakes we don't treat Outlook errors as blockers anymore.
  30. Exactly the same is happening in Hungary. There was a huge educational system developed for schools from extremely huge budget but both the backend and front-end is crap. There was an alternative front-end built similar to the Swedish way but they were forced to shut it down.
