Nice bits of kit, but as I am old now.... my eyes don't work as well as needed for these small screens.
- "One interesting kicker to the story: Trading commodities on inside information obtained from the government wasn't actually illegal when the movie came out, but it's illegal now. It was banned in the 2010 finance-overhaul law, under a special provision often referred to as the Eddie Murphy Rule."
Why aren't most of the democrats in jail, then? - How did they make their fortunes on their lifetime government salaries?
- Britain is better off with brexit than if it had stayed. People voted for brexit because they wanted to determine their (british) future and not be tied to the eu. Brexit was never delivered as promised because the vote was only given because they thought that it would fail. Immigration (economic migration) again is the fault of the government bowing down to the echr rules that it actually does not need to. Europe is the sinking titanic and the UK lifeboat needs to detatch itself or be dragged down with it.
- I use Proxmox with an OPNSense VM and have multiple NICs - one is dedicated to the fibre ONT. I also use an external wifi mesh. I have a couple of other vms (unRaid hosting Dockers with sata card passthrough for legacy reasons and a vm for Home Assistant OS) and lots of other LXCs. It works superbly.
- Looks great! The one issue i have is my Proxmox server runs OPNsense and all my hosted apps. It has an APC UPS. Some of the apps gracefully close down when UPS is low and power is lost. If UPS power fails completely, then PC is obviously off. Is there a foolproof way that the server will restart when UPS receives power again?. I see a "restart on power loss" in BIOS but is this the proper way to do it?
