  1. I was able to write an AppleScript that ran on connection to add a dummy ULA and a disconnect script that undid it and went back to auto v6.
  2. Yeah I've been using it daily for almost a year as have many other people at work
  3. I've found that using my v4 only network from my ISP and macOS can do v6 only without requiring a DNS server like you have been doing. I don't remember the details now, but after some digging a few years ago I realized macOS will happily work like that as long as it has a v6 address. I can put a ULA address on my host, and it's good to go. Granted this relies on users knowing how to do that. or depending on the VPN application to get to the v6 only network, you may be able to script adding a ULA (any kind even made up). You don't want to leave it wIth a made up ULA because that could screw things up if the user moves to a v6 capable network.
  4. The US government is under a mandate to move to v6 only, so it's very much on some radars. Hopefully some ISPs follow suit.
  5. That fretboard is amazing! Thanks for working on it and sharing.
  6. id3 is the standard for music metadata

  7. I think the point is that API isn't just used for HTTP and your title assumes HTTP API
  8. Do you have screenshots or a little write up? This sounds like something I could be interested in, but I don't want to download a phone app to see what it really is.
  9. Any sort of pricing info would be really good to have on your page somewhere.
  10. I'm not trying to be rude, but you claim the most customizable habit tracker, yet I don't see anything on the home page that shows how that's true. I see:

"time-based, count-based, and simply completable activities and habits." which are things on many other habit trackers. I'm curious if you have something cool that's not coming across on the homepage?

  11. This seems silly, but the use of that emoji as your logo really turned me off. I have been trying to figure out why in order to give you better feedback, but I can't.
  12. very much so. there was a lot going on and it took my attention away from the content so much so I was confused what I was looking at
  13. I think some sort of demo or something would be really useful. I do not want to sign up for something I can't see first.
  14. This looks interesting, I too have problems even in the darkest of dark night shift. To be perfectly honest, I was ready to `brew install nocturnal` and test it out, but I'm not going to figure out what Carthage is and get that bootstrapped just to try this. I realize that's pure laziness on my part, but people are lazy when they can be. Might be an easy-ish hurdle to get more adopters
  15. Yeah definitely not gonna download an app for this.
  16. It would be really helpful to have a little blurb about what it is somewhere. Writing a tool, I know sometimes it's easy to forget that not everyone has the context, but that contexts would be super useful.
  17. 1.28 billion daily active users on average for March 2017 [https://newsroom.fb.com/company-info/]

would greatly disagree with your statement. It may not be the answer for everyone, but it could be that tool for a large chunk of the world's population.

  18. I tried to do this with a song of mine. Every time it got to 100% the page crashed out.
  19. I really like the idea, but on my Nexus 6 running Nougat, it said my library was just the Facebook app sounds. I saw no settings or anywhere to point it to my correct music location (I normally use Google Play Music, so whatever that default is..).
  20. It costs 20 dollars actually.
  21. You might want to add the link here.
  22. How is Tor supposed to help you defend against MitM?
  23. Any plans for an Android app? This sounds like something I want to try out.
  24. Oh boy. Auto play vimeo video that wouldn't let me click pause? Definitely need to fix that.
  25. ||stormpages.com^

Is in the malware domain list. If that helps you figure out why uBlock is not a fan..

  26. You should look at ISLET. It's designed for this exact sort of thing.

    https://github.com/jonschipp/islet

  27. There's a typo on the about us page. I'm assuming it should say B2bsphere.com

"Founded in February 2015 and based in Houston, Texas. B2pshere.com..."

  28. Doesn't seem to exist yet. Got excited as documentation is a pain, buuut there's nothing at the link. You give them your email address and then...nothing. No info, no download. Not sure what's going on.
