- To anyone who has never been, this is one of the oldest and most vibrant marketplaces you will ever see.
Thanks for sharing the beautiful side of Detroit with us.
- Vibe coded site thats pretty broken on mobile. Im assuming the product is as well.
- Thanks for sharing this, I've never heard of it! It's actually a pretty similar approach to what I'm doing, without having dug into the code. Making an ssg does feel like you're reinventing the wheel, but I rather enjoy having creative control over things even if it's not much different from what's out there.
I just started working on my own ssg using Elixir https://github.com/Sieep-Coding/project-ssg
Here's a sample using our 'minimal' template https://project-ssg.vercel.app/

- From my understanding it wasn't started or ran by Microsoft. They have Microsoft listed as the first sponsor on their main website, for what it's worth.

- Well said. I've long been a believer in computer literacy. Streamlined UX/UI has made people, especially the younger generation worse at using & troubleshooting computers. It's painfully obvious in the corporate world nowadays. Clippy to me, absolutely played a part in this.
- I agree with a lot of the sentiment here about the actual app itself but I'm surprised that people aren't seeing LinkedIn for what it is, a tool. If you're a founder, LinkedIn is a great place to find talent & drive inbound sales, at minimum.
If you're not using it, I bet your competition is. Sure, the feed is terrible but look at it purely as a talent & sales pipeline. There isn't anything else like it out there.
