  1. I would like a US government statuspage.
  2. Look at https://caniuse.com/usage-table. IE11 has 2.66% usage. Is that worth the time investment in development?

If your site is already active, I would also look at Google Analytics and see if any of your audience uses IE11.

And the last question, the user experience will, of course, be best on evergreen browsers, but will it completely break on older browsers?

  3. It has to do with demand.
  4. How do you define the "right information"? And if the results are sorted properly, why wouldn't it be in spots #1-3?
  5. Does anyone trust Facebook to delete your data when they say they delete it?
  6. Commit messages should start with a verb, and complete the sentence "If you apply this commit, it will..."
  7. Would you still trust that it's off when it says that it's off?
  8. I was confused by the lack of consistency across each of the graphs.

"No Opinion/Don't care" is sometimes gray, sometimes yellow, and sometime orange.

And for some graphs, the negative reaction is on the left and others the negative reaction is on the right.

  9. Each word is pushing onto, and then popping off of a stack.
  10. This podcast from the BBC was really helpful to me in explaining it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p051zkj8
  11. I feel like they're really getting on the cute-sy theme, from the car's friendly design to the name "Waymo".

The lack of control is still kind of terrifying so I think they're trying to make it as non-threatening as possible.

  12. Suppose we want to prove that every string is perfectly cromulent. I love it already.
  13. Apple is fully supporting USB-C on their MacBook line. I don't know why they didn't just go all the way with unifying that across the iPhone 7.
  14. Just speaking personally, but I thought the hype around Snapchat was on the decline. The app seemed to get slower with every update and people within my social circles weren't using it as much as a few years ago.
  15. Yeah, I think the author is drawing the wrong conclusions by comparing two variables. It looks like, from the graph, there's some staying power within the top 20%, but that still leaves a great amount of mobility for college graduates.
  16. Then they tried AR in 2011 with the 3DS. It went better.
  17. That's weird. A grammar nazi is a stickler for grammar. You'd think naziparking would be a stickler for proper parking.
  18. Middle-click and drag is a game-changer! Thanks for the heads up.
  19. It's even more dangerous if it creates a false sense of security.
  20. I would think if you're dropping tens of thousands of dollars for a product, you'd be satisfied with it or convince yourself you're satisfied.
  21. You can change your privacy settings so you have to approve everything before going on your wall/feed.
  22. Honest question: how do you teach English if you aren't bilingual in the foreign language?

It seems like if the students have questions, you won't easily be able to answer them.

  23. Save that $500 a month, and you'll have enough within a year.

It's not a LOT of money, but enough to travel if that is what you want to do.

  24. I think that industry is still too young. We don't yet know if it'll take off or just be a fad.
  25. The autopilot is still in beta and warns drivers to still pay attention to the road.

As long as drivers have control, they are responsible for the vehicle. Only after we remove steering wheels, the accelerator, and brakes; and have a fully autonomous system should the car manufacturers (or software manufacturers) be blamed.

  26. I'm waiting a few weeks to see if they announce an update to their Round.
  27. We'll bring the Netflix, you bring the chill (AC).
  28. Credit cards have much greater fraud protection than debit cards. In the few times someone made a fraudulent purchase on my credit card, they instantly messaged me to confirm, then removed the charge and mailed me a new card/number.
  29. I am impressed Amazon was able to make a new product category. It's only a matter of time before Apple announces their take on Siri Home.
