   Well they sold some retirement accounts to Ascensus which you have to have your own account and login for so maybe they will move your 401k too some day and you will be in the same boat as these guys.

   Based on the video and rivian history I think they wanted to redesign from the ground up a bike to match the packaging success they had at rivian and companies like lucid vs how legacy automakers approached it. The problem is the current laws about bikes and ebikes limited them and they had to make many tradeoffs which is what we are looking at. I guess we will find it if it was worth it to go ground up vs more off the shelf. As a rivian owner I'm concerned about repair-ability and maintenance.

   I tried to reach out to coinbase customer support to see if I was impacted. Once I wasted my time with the AI bot and got a human they were unaware of the breach. I was the first person to inform them about it.

   Ten years ago I used to be really into all the mech keyboard stuff. Then I bought a topre realforce and have been using it ever since. The hobby part of the keyboards is neat but as far as "good" keyboard I haven't seen anything that would cause me to switch.

    I use 1password but opt out of this feature. Just as described in the article masterpassword creates a single source of failure so I don't personally want to put more eggs in that basket.

    (Rivian owner) It's painfully obvious rivian is stuck playing the american capitalism game where if they don't meet certain numbers of sales each quarter the stock goes down so nothing else matters. I'm sure they would rather invest in service, reliability or something but they can't stop for a second on trying to move new vehicles out the door. The future doesn't matter, only next quarter matters.

    This is semantics but I thought I'd chime in anyway. I don't think they were setting multiple timers, they were setting one timer multiple times, i.e. adjusting a single timer after doing said checks.

    There are a lot of non "shitty crossovers" EVs on the market right now. Just maybe not one that ticks all your boxes. With that said if you are trying to get people to buy EVs doesn't it make sense to after what consumers want? The f150 has been the best selling vehicle in america for 40 years - why would you ignore trying to electrify that? Not only for demand reasons but electrifying the larger vehicles is the best target for reducing emissions. I understand and agree with the smaller vehicle argument but if we only electrify smaller vehicles americans are not going to suddenly start buying them instead of huge vehicles as they have the last 40 years.

    I've seen a lot of companies go far by "selling the dream" instead of actually booking rev. If this continues to go badly reddit won't have rev or a dream. At least with users making content other users want there is always a chance.
