- Graffiti is often framed at taking back the space. I think i’m rather lucky to live in a place where advertising seems somewhat more limited, with considerable space given to more local events, although i do have a giant billboard outside my flat.
There’s also a lot of space given over to graffiti, some more industrial spaces have completely embraced it, with whole lengths of walls and buildings allowing it. sharing with communal spaces such as as music venues and skate parks.
I think every underpass is also allowed, and fresh work appears every so often.
All the street furniture throughout the city, electrical boxes etc, are all uniquely decorated and it still cheers me when i see a new one.
- Possibly messing with the guys who handle the money make for the loudest complaints
- I'm pretty sure the technical test for one Job application I had was just to solve a particular android testing problem they couldn't figure out.
- That doesn't seem at all right, even misleading, cancer survivability has significantly improved
- AFAIK, and not technically relevant, but iOS is very strict on this when submitting to the app store, and they’re not at all clear about it either, i had some very confusing and frustrating errors with self built frameworks with dynamic libraries. You also seem to be forbidden to use .dylib and must use the .framework format.
It’s picked up on submission automatically and not at review, but is a completely undocumented requirement.
- It’s based on Swift’s codable protocol: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/swift/codable
- Aphex twin did this years ago, replacing his sinister face over the faces of the crowd at his concerts
- That’s def not the laser, most cats will play with light reflections if they’ve seen a laser pointer or, i did this as a kid pre laser pointer age. I would say the laser pointer at least works without sunlight.
- It was a product of it’s time, it highlighted an issue that apple never really addressed, i have much more confidence in the future of SPM because at least it seems to be moving in tandem with Swift
- Yeah, no, cocoapods was a nightmare compared to SPM, every ios update supplied a new unsolved issue in one pod or another that required dark incantations.
Managing a local pods caused issues so great engineers quit
- I thought he bankrupted the casinos, he just inherited daddies money + real estate through an elaborate tax avoidance scheme.
- That seems very subjective, i’m more of the opinion clothes are far more practical nowadays, who wants to wear a suit in summer? It’s just not sensible
- Steal them from your subordinates
- I started working at eighteen, tbh I had lost my way schoolwise, but i had always been interested in computer graphics, CAD and was savvy enough to get my hands on software i perhaps could not have afforded that gave me some base skills that led from one job to another,
Sometimes i feel like working with CS people, and i’ve worked with some really good ones, so please don’t get me wrong, but sometimes i feel some have just done it because it’s a good career, and show zero interest or curiosity past their immediate positions.
- That's a bit pedantic, trying to describe an overall decrease as an increase takes a real stretch
- Switzerland is more well known for their Gnomes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnomes_of_Zurich
- Ukrainian Nazi groups apparently always had problems making connections with other Nazi groups because they were all pro-russia
- I still have a kinect, but I haven't used it in years, I have started looking at some of the stuff I used it for, and now, I would just use what's in an iPhone pro. Since the 12, the main camera has LiDAR, and apples SDKs can handle everything the Kinect used to do and more.
I really do like the street furniture one, which is pretty much everywhere in my city, it was organized by a local art group and involved many artists
Honestly think it’s a good thing
