  1. Not just usable, better performant than Windows too.

  2. When was it thrown out? It seems the ruling against Valve was upheld

  3. Instead, can we implement autonomous formation flying? Each aircraft can still have its own engines and control, but can make a V shape allowing the following planes to run more efficiently.
  4. It's a disclaimer that they have no idea what they code does.
  5. I agree it's stupid. Relevant video on this:

  6. How do beavers increase total water flow? I can see them causing more water to be held upstream.
  7. Is this going to finally replace all the Xbox Kinects everyone uses?
  8. I find this kind of thing a good case for LLMs as they can dumb down the technical jargon:

    From Gemini:

    ```
    Imagine you're trying to record someone talking in a noisy room using your MacBook's built-in microphones. This software acts like a super-smart filter:
    * It knows where the microphones are: Apple laptops have multiple tiny microphones.
    * It listens to all of them at once: It takes the input from all the microphones.
    * It figures out where the person talking is: It analyzes the sound to find the direction of the voice.
    * It focuses on that voice: It boosts the sound coming from that direction.
    * It quiets down the other noises: It reduces the sound from other directions, like background chatter.
    So, instead of getting a muddy recording with lots of noise, you get a clearer recording of the person you want to hear. Basically, it makes your MacBook's microphones sound much better in noisy environments. And it's designed to work within audio programs that use a specific plugin format called LV2.
    ```

  10. I don't think vanilla KSP aerodynamics simulate airflow at all. You could have wings clipping and they would still pretend to be generating lift. The F.A.R. mods adds much more realistic aerodynamics.
  11. Does that mean the RISC-V cores are super low powered?
  12. For a mass produced product, why waste die space on RISC-V cores that can only be used instead of the Cortex cores? Why not just use that die space for more ram or another ARM core? Doesn't it make sense to sell a variant that is entirely RISC-V?
  13. Maybe the screens only emit polarized light which can easily be filtered out?
  14. Could train birds of prey to actively hunt down and rip apart drones.

    So that's what was going on in the Matrix when the humans were staring at all that green text.

  17. The key part for me:

    > Momentum has already begun with FY23 4th Quarter NEC ridership achieving 8% above pre-pandemic levels

  18. The Garmin autoland can automatically activate, determine which airport to land at communicate on ATC frequency to say it is going to land at X airport.
  19. Reminds me of the air force discovering that no pilot was average. And that was only looking at 10 dimensions.
