  1. cody rudland is a hero
  2. Yep. The real battle is wealthies vs poors.

    Everything else is just propaganda.

  3. latest release was 5 years ago
  4. There are few UI's that I hate more in the world than SourceTree. That pile of junk has cost me so many hours of life trying to support the developers in fixing a thousand weird issues.

No, please throw SourceTree into the garbage can.

  5. Yeah. As a Mozilla/FF user for as long as I have memory ... unwanted "features" are about the only way to get me stop using this browser.
  6. I do `open -n "/Applications/Firefox.app" --args -p myprofilename` and that does the trick on mac
  7. You like the X.com stance where it bans speech from liberals and leftists?
  8. Excuse me for thinking you a hypocrite. X.com is about as authoritarian as it gets. They have banned so many people.

    Just an example ..

  9. I have been using my morals to decide on what purchases to make and where to spend my money.

Looks like in this year 2025, choosing an open source project is also a moral decision.

  10. Wait that was super short. I liked this article I wanted it to be longer.
  11. WHAT THE FUACK!? You internet people are genius sometimes
  12. For website/web server learning I recommend the laravel code-base. It's a beauty.

  13. I love a good bit of dissent. Also I love Tailwind.

    > There are only two kinds of languages: the ones people complain about and the ones nobody uses.

    So yeah. Amen.

  14. This is indeed my favorite FireFox feature. Sometimes it even helps get past article paywalls to read the article.
  15. I feel like Kagi was just asking "Impress us" and OP misunderstood the assignment by actually building a solid project and handling edge cases that no one cared about.

Anyways thanks for writing this up OP, it was an interesting read and I am a Kagi customer so I liked learning about them.

  16. American parenting does not value boredom anywhere near enough. It's a valuable part of being a smart human. Society needs to value boredome more highly.

As a parent I highly value boredom. At ages 6 and 8 electronics limited to 30 mins per day.

  17. Man you motherfuckers are smart.

    This is pretty cool

  18. I cannot for the life of me get DALL-E to draw a mean picture of trump. So.. I think this hack is not working.
  19. I'm sold, thank you will install it.
  20. This project is amazing! I been messing with it all day today, I'm in love.

Thank you to the developers, you really have a keen eye for detail.

  21. > Debugging

I spent a lot of time learning how to use the debugger in storm. I still found the "feedback loop" to be slower than just dumping and eventually stopped using the debugger. dd() is just so fast, and that is all I care about, fixing the bug as fast as possible.

  22. Technically reddit and xdotcom are competitors, so this makes financial sense.
  23. A percentage of them are.
  24. Feature request: Just a way to bookmark or save products so I can go back and reference them at a later date.
