- The biggest improvement we made to our dailies was to break up the traditional three question structure. Nobody really cares about your status from yesterday. Especially since we work together every day and are a self-organizing team that does not need to report to a manager on a daily basis.
Instead we talk about our plans for the day, ask a lot of questions and plan our collaboration and problem solving sessions. These dailies are usually shorter and I feel like I get much more value from them.

- You could use a differentially private mechanism like randomized response to gather the data. This would protect the individual through plausible deniability and still allow some kind of research about what factors correlate with anti-vaxxers. But I doubt that this is what the Spanish government is going to do.

- Services like S3 are referred to as „object storage“. AWS Lambda is a service for „serverless compute“ or „function as a service“ (although it‘s debatable if these are good names for the concept).
My point is that definitely are named for these concepts but AWS uses brand names which is quite confusing for people who are new to AWS.
- Why is this better than throwing errors or using Promise.resolve()?
I know it is inefficient because creating a new error with a stack trace each time is bad for performance. However, you can also throw errors which do not extend Error to avoid this. Destructuring the output and explicitly checking for errors every time seems to be quite the hassle.
- I have a Hearthstone package on NPM which gets a few downloads everyday (also from China). Yesterday I removed everything in it and now module.exports is „光復香港 時代革命“ instead of Hearthstone data.
- Read the comment again, young immigrants will have to pay higher rents because there will be a shortage of rentable housing.
- I had the same experience when trying to do NER on customer support requests. My model performed great for research datasets but it was mediocre at best for my own dataset. Do you have any suggestions on how to achieve better results in domains where mistakes, bad punctuation, etc are common?
- Trying to write mods for Minecraft is what got me into programming as a teenager, this looks really cool!
- In Germany it's the same for parties or meeting with friends. If it is work-related most people tend to be on time.
