  1. Non-American countries are also importing a lot of American politics. I'd rather that didn't happen and is alone worthy of curbing in my opinion.
  2. The new console is completely fine.
  3. How can Hungary or Slovakia do the same? Literally, how could they? What mechanism exists?
  4. Is this satire?
  5. So why complain about the experts?
  6. This article was written for The Guardian, not Hacker News.
  7. The Netherlands would be the 4th biggest state if it was part of the US.

  10. Ireland isn't in the UK. Minimum wage for full time in Ireland is about 2281,50 €.
  11. This is much closer than I was expecting somehow.
  12. Ryanair has an impeccable safety record.
  13. I've heard a lot that voice mode uses a faster (and worse) model than regular ChatGPT. So I think this makes sense. But I haven't seen this in any official documentation.
  14. This is not true. The average in the EU is 0,287 €/kWh. I pay 0,34 €/kWh in Berlin.
  15. Is Hetzner even interested in offering anything other than VPS? There are many companies in Europe that offer a much more cloudy/managed approach, like Scaleway or STACKIT. Hetzner has object storage now but nothing else really.
  16. 6 minutes is late for DB. But trains are often much later (or cancelled).
  17. The UK is not in the EU.
  18. Having a live location of the delivery person makes total sense here though.
  19. It's pretty complicated and case-by-case, and I'm no expert.

  20. Just shipping goods through the UK does not make them UK-origin. They have to have a "substantial transformation".
