  1. Would you say _Game Over_ is the best example of a book in this space/topic, despite the flaws?
  2. >little bit bias and opinionated Well, we are reading an individual's blog after all.
  3. Google's job is to sell ads, not provide accessibility to text-only browsers.

(for the record I grow to dislike g more every day, and also this move)

  4. I pop this up at an annual lan party amongst friends and its always a hit. Easy to use, easy to run, jam-packed with features

  7. Heic to jpeg would be cool, my mom doesn’t have an iPhone and has to handle iPhone pictures regularly, which confuses her

Also I see split pdf, but create pdf from a collection of selected pictures would be cool too!

Neat project. Always love self hostable

  8. What a shame, having gotten into Torn recently, this scratches a similar itch and I would have liked to try it.

Any other hidden text-y web gems out there like these two that I should check out?

  9. This is so epic. Makes me want to create web pages myself which I never really have to date.
  10. I'm not sure this is an age-specific issue.

Though I do find it entertaining that the older crowds are so sucked into phones when they spent the entire Millenial/beyond generation's time complaining of kids being too 'into their screens.'

  11. On the anecdote subject, I use debit cards 60% of the time and cash 40% of the time. I am continually trying to use cash more to keep payment processors out of my commerce habits (or at least via that angle).

That said I think everything below the quarter is useless and just adds a ton to cash handling difficulty and expense. It'd be sad to see them go as they were/are staples of currency in the US, but functionally their purpose is so seemingly useless.

  12. GamersNexus has had great coverage throughout this problem, even before Intel disclosure

  13. use snappy driver installer origin and it will find all drivers based on hardware IDs. it rarely misses https://www.glenn.delahoy.com/snappy-driver-installer-origin...

I've used this on our fresh windows installs for years

  14. It stings a little, but most of the Good People have gotten around to other studios anyways. As I understand it gainax was really just an IP holding company for the most part in recent time
  15. I found it exceedingly easy to find out how to buy it. There's even an FAQ question about buying it
  16. closing issue as [fixed in m4]
