- nsonhaThat's obviously just an article pretending to criticise htmx
- What's agent/AI specific about this? Seems just backend-driven UI
- There are logs for accessing aws resources and if you don't see the access before you revoke it then the data is safe
- "Hashicorp, an IBM company"
Common sense would be IBM mandating that branding, as opposed to Hashicorp.
- jj is a different topic.
As for worktree, jj or git, it has become the defacto way to work on multiple branches in paralell, using AI. Unlike the non AI workflow where you don't switch often, working with AI involves more branches that can be worked on in parallel and switching back and forth quite rapidly.
- Does not take any coding ability configue it. Out of the box you can search for any setting and even if you edit the json config directly you get autocomplete.
- are they regulated under gambling laws? Sounds like fraud to me.
- > they have just re-invented Firefox Focus
exactly what's the problem with re-inventing?
And they didn't reinvent anything, they pick an under-utilised engine. This is not yet another firefox (or chromium) fork.
- > giving the LLM more capability to generate user interfaces
This is not dissimilar to the argument that "MCP needs not exist, just tell llm to run commands and curl". Well, llm can do those, and generate user interfaces. It's just they don't work reliably (maybe ever, depending on how you define "reliable").
I guess as engineers we can do some work and create stopgap solutions or we can all sit and wait for someone else (who? when?) to make AGIs in which everything just magically works, reliably.
- I don't think the reasoning level is what makes it for me. I am treating this as a search engine. I want the thing to fetch/read from index as many pages as possible. Either that or as many agentic tool calls as needed. That takes time.
- more like chat(gpt) for files or NotebookLM for files. "Cursor for X" is usually a maker tool and not a chat/query/info management tool.
- I use perplexity a lot and pretty much exclusively with "deep research" on. Is this on the same level? Because Perplexity often take more than a minute, and this is only 20 secs.
- I'm suprised that corporate software has not picked up deno for these reasons.
- > do we ever?
We have AI to sort them so it will payoff, or already does.
- Also he always sounds like "I know this will not work". Dude are you a researcher? You're supposed to experiment and follow the results. That's what separates you from oracles and freaking philosophers or whatever.
- That's a PR description. Commit messages describing why is pretty annoying and useless.
- Huh? Please post the definitely proof you know to exist. Because it doesn't and that's one of the accusation toward the CCP, that they covered it up.
It's funny that when the Israel government posted some photos of the Oct 7 massacres, people are very quick to point out that some seem staged. But some bloody photos that look like Tiananmem Square from the 80s is considered definite proof.
- Google Maps, GPS, the Internet etc being free are surely just a CIA plan to take over the world
- > that Google is just better at this kind of thing
That might be true but Siri sucks so bad it doesn't matter. It uses GPT but the quality is OSS models' level.
