- Thanks. My main value prop is to create a simple/clean site that allows anyone to filter down to people that look exactly like them & see links to their outfit. Just a more targeted way to shop by the person, rather than the product. Of course I need Fashion Brands to signup and regularly post photos. Eventually I want to have every demographic covered (ethnicity, age, height, weight).

- YES! I'm using PHP to build my Search Engine for Kids Activities (http://twkids.app) and its been great!
I love PHP as there's no other language that provides the same simplicity and immediacy of results. I tried learning multiple frameworks but it was just too overwhelming and complicated. With PHP, its very easy to just get started as you can mix it right into your html.
I just learned the basics on http://w3schools.com and just started working on my project (http://twkids.app) right away. I think the best way to learn is to just build something real. Then just Google your questions along the way.
Good Luck!
- Ugh thats unfortunate. Heard it used to be a week to get thousands of pages indexed. At this rate it will take forever (60k pages). Maybe due to all the auto generated AI pages flooding in, Google is trying to slow things down?
Do you know if static pages (.html) would get indexed faster? Thinking of converting all my pages to static to see if any improvement.

- Absolutely - thank you for the kind words!
I'm a father of 2 young kids & I love building side projects. So about a year ago, started working on this site to solve my own problem, which was finding things to do with my kids on the weekends. When I searched on GoogleMaps & Yelp, it would only give me results by places. But I wanted to search all activities in a particular location (city, county). So in the searchbar, if you type in your zipcode/city/county - you can see all "Places" or "Photos" in that location. And then just filter down by Category (e.g. Indoor Playcenters, Swimming Pools, Parks, etc). I felt like this was a much cleaner & simpler experience to discover kids activities. Hopefully it's helpful to other parents out there as well. As for Tech Stack, I just built it with Plain Vanilla HTML + CSS + PHP + SQL.
