- Amazing product. We use VictoriaMetrics for quite a while, and previously used Loki and our custom Clickhouse/Vector approach for logs and we have switched to VictoriaLogs. It is much better and faster than Loki, same goes with custom CH/Vector thing we had. Kudos to the team, we are waiting for VictoriaTraces to switch Tempo instance to it for opentelemetry stuff.
- Loki and Clickhouse are not really excelling in what ES is. For example, full text search.
VictoriaLogs is very promising in this regard!
- This is what I've been doing on my cluster:

Here you have Vector in aggregator + agent mode and several sources. VictoriaLogs also recently added Grafana datasource so it is fairly easy to set it up:

I'm a big fan of VictoriaMetrics as well and we use it extensively in my company at high scale.
- Are we discussing a personal wiki or an internal company wiki? There is a significant distinction between the two.
- I didn't intend to undermine your efforts, by the way. I hope it becomes successful and thrives.
- I don't see the appeal of web-based calendar apps. They should be native and able to work offline. Fantastical is a great example of such an app.
- Raycast also has this natively + Alfred has a plugin for it.
- From what I see, this doesn't compare to Notion. Notion is not typically used as a note-taking app, but rather as an internal wiki.
- Well, it is not for free, he earns quite a lot of money for it. He is not a philanthropist.
- By taxis that got deprecated by Uber because taxi costs more, and you are not certain which price will it be in the end, and for convenience. Now if you want to get a car to get you somewhere you have to get an Uber; otherwise you will be waiting for quite a while. It is not a reality I like, but it is a reality in some countries.
- Daily warning that not everyone lives in the USA and sometimes there are no alternatives to Uber in certain countries.
- This one is amazing, never heard of it and thanks for sharing! Appreciate that you added lifetime subscription as well, but for now subscribed monthly :)
- I stopped using Noteplan as developer doubled the subscription price over the night. Performance was perfect for me, though.
- I appreciate what Obsidian is and how it works, and congrats on 1.0!
On the personal side, I dislike aesthetics and wouldn't ever use it 'cause of Electron, tho. I'm spoiled by native note-taking apps like Bear and Noteplan on macOS which have much nicer UX and UI, especially on mobile.
- Not only the slowest, it also uses the most energy of all browsers on Mac. Scrolling the old Reddit spikes the CPU to 10x more than Brave.
- You can also add I Don't Care About Cookies list in uBlock Origin.
- If people are already using uBlock Origin, you can use https://github.com/DandelionSprout/adfilt/blob/master/Legiti... and it works really good.
- TP-Link EAP are decent for WiFi and for routers - Mikrotik.

We have a couple of projects like this with similar usage and similar machine sizing.
Still running vmlogs-single, and we will until we see a need to move to vmlogs-cluster version.
