   I’ve been working an a meal planning application that so far can order all your groceries after planning a meal. There is a basic task graph now to estimate time to finish and takes into account different euqipment like a food processor or pressure cooker.

   We’ve been having really good results with Copilot Agent. Sometimes we have to close a PR and refine the issue or pull down and work locally on cursor but it also jumpstarts a lot of stuff.

   Suspend works find on ZFS from what I’ve read but not hibernate where ram is written to disk for full power off

   Lots of people mentioning ZFS, which can’t do hibernation correctly as sometimes ZFS will still do some writes after that ram has suspended. Which I feel like would complete the story of here’s my mobile device that is snapshoted and backed up regularly.

   I wonder where bcachfs in regards to mobile snapshots and hibernation.

   I wish pihole or adguard would add support for change DNS records based on the query subnet. I believe this is called DNS views.

   That way my local devices and wireguard devices can get the correct IP for internal services.

    I feel that, I went back to truenas for the simplicity.

    This 5 disk pool started from the freebsd truenas, to Debian, to nixos, back to linux truenas.

    And the disks where bumped from 2TB to 12Tb

    The hardest think now is forgetting all the patterns we used on client side only say.

    Now because of server actions you would just redirect to a success page..

    You can use a plugin to sync to git repo. Folders in obsidian are really folder on disk and. In git.

    At this point you could hook up ci for instance to publish a blog folder etc

    Kubernetes is declarative. There are now operators published by AWS and azure that you you define and provision managed cloud services like RDS and S3 a CRDs from a cluster.

    Started going really deep into SQLite.

    Couple hiccups like making sure when creating tables to use strict mode and enabling foreign keys that every one needs to read about.

    I exported about 8million rows from my Apple health records (about eight years for something’s like steps from before watch) and into a SQLite database from the xml dump using python (twice as fast a rust for some reason) in about 110 seconds. Dates are stored as Unix time stamps. Had ChatGPT generate some queries that showed my percent change in things like resting heart rate for each year using LAG and AVG return in less than a second.

    My job at work https://unsupervised.com/ does a lot of KPI work so I’ve been interesting in learning how to to correlate data to show improvements to KPIs (in my case resting heart rate or lean body mass)

    Nextjs server components and https://github.com/kysely-org/kysely also make working with SQLite a breeze.

    K3s/k9s can be ran on a single server and gives you the declarative benefits and the entire helm ecosystem.

    Everyone assumes you have to run multi node.

    Been using it for awhile running on k3s in vm and replying this in the arrs using k8 at home helm charts.

    Big wish for jellyfin and the tvos was recommendation engine or randomizer as alphabetical and genre browsing is a little bland. This is after using the aarrs to download say all movies by a director.
