  1. I would be more careful towards social engineering than some random typical hackers. The former seems more prevalent and successful in my POV.
  2. Is there an increasing trend of supply chain attacks? What can developers do to mitigate the impact?
  3. sounds interesting
  4. I've built one for about 3 years. It's simply a todo app, but it solves my personal worflow very well.
  5. I’m based in Canada and have no ambition to join a FAANG company. Listing it on my résumé would definitely boost my profile, especially for startups. I’m still figuring things out, but I envision creating a product that would allow me to work internationally, potentially opening the path to becoming a digital nomad.

However, I realized I might already be doing it wrong — as the old saying goes, “build and validate early.” I wonder how might one navigate this scenario?

  6. TL;DR: It's a Todo app I use personally every day. It solves my own problem and has taught me a lot about software development, design, and product management. While it's complete, it hasn't been publicly launched yet, and I'm struggling to decide on the next step.

I hadn't considered monetization until now since it started as a passion project. There’s a slim chance it could attract paying users (and maybe earn some pocket money), but at worst, I’ll remain its only user.

It doesn’t have fancy features, but they’re executed well enough to meet my workflow needs:

    - Every todo list is text-based, allowing external work with .txt files. - Extremely responsive UX, as most data syncs locally. - Minute-level analytics to track time spent on tasks and projects.

If I decide to monetize it, it could provide valuable experience in running a business, though it might also become a significant time sink. I’d feel very proud if others used my work, but I know how competitive this field is, so that might not be realistic.

I’d greatly appreciate any recommendation or sugesstion! :)

    Note: I'm based in Canada.

  7. I’d say the way you ask the question is much more important than the answers themselves, as it reveals your own - likely unconscious - metaphysical and ethical assumptions. Mathematically, the optimizations you mentioned are probably well-researched, so further study in the humanities would likely be more fruitful than taking an economics-based approach.

Personally, I’d recommend reading Nietzsche and Marx, or thinkers who came after them.

  8. Guess when/who has the next outage!
  9. Hi there, I've made my own text-based todo list with compatible web view which is kind of similar to what you did. (though far from completion)

There's a sync engine behind it so the UX is extremely responsive.

  11. As far as I know, Kantian philosophy might be something you want to take a look on. He'd discussed extensively about rationality, which is the implicit foundation of daily inquiry and almost all scientific endeavours.
