- a pair of scissors costs $10
- "these microseconds add up to real latency"
While I love Ruby, if performance is your main motiviation, you would not be using a scripting language.
- why can't they be both photographer and coder?
- you saw the video - it bobs its head and records all your activities and audio to send back to HQ.
- Google sabotage firefox performance deliberately
- "Google cloned Linux kernel, claimed as own." Link?
- One has exposed GPIOs for devs to play with. If you just want a basic computer, N100s are great.
- Generate and send it every possible key
- so you're willing to pay for it?
- this can just be flooded with fake data making it useless
- Comparing Go to PHP is like comparing C to Assembly
- power consumption is worst than compressor system
- that's an idea but would you not have to power each one which then destroys efficiency anyway
- I doubt the Chinese ever care about licensing so I would not care about following their license
- HP has 0 incentive to give old laptops new life if they don't profit from it. People who buy used laptops are already doing so. Yes, there are somes risks but if the computer boots up, perhaps run a few performance tests, then it's good. A used laptop is $100 - $500, not $2000 - $10000 and it most likely is not sold multiple times because after teh second owner, it's likely already too old, too slow, and not supported (Microsoft). I was a seller of used laptops.
- there is plenty of automation to be done. Last company I was with claimed to be a "tech company" which they kind of are but their internal tech stack was junk and automation was just as bad (at least in the unit I was with). AI certainly won't do anything about that unless a person told it exactly what and how to automate.
- Is this a law in Japan or common curtoeusy? IN the West, the law is if you are in public, there is no expectation of privacy.
- as I've said before, if you block legal porn sites, people will find other ways of getting porn which will expose them to and prolierate illegal porn. This is not a good law.
- only because the US is soft on crime - so soft that drugs that were illegal are no longer illegal
- Should Cloudflare release the IPs and try to get those devices removed from the internet?
- US culture actively promotes alcohol use. Go to a college party and all their games revolve around drinking
- "we encourage developers to link to self-hosted privacy policies"
So now, extensions can change to anything they want at any time they want with our without consent?
- They can advertise to me all day and I wouldn't buy a thing
- this is a secondary mechanism. Falling branches kill and therefor get fertilizer.
- I used to use MSHTA with success even though not cross platform - that would be the killer feature
- Your comment is snide and unnecessary. Do Chinese walk around thinking they want to be more American? No they don't. Americans certainly dont believe everyone is trying very hard to be like them - typically go about their own business. Chinese may be influenced by western shows and movies but everybody is influenced by the shows that they watch. Why do Americans need to think about the rest of the world? Do Chinese think about the rest of the world? Your hatred really shows in your comment.
- what you're saying is they've locked you in. Good business model
- "someone" we all know who but everyone is afraid to say it
