- Yeah. I noticed Claud suffers when it reaches context overload - its too opinionated, so it shortens its own context with decisions I would not ever make, yet I see it telling itself that the shortcuts are a good idea because the project is complex...then it gets into a loop where it second guesses its own decisions and forgets the context and then continues to spiral uncontrollably into deeper and deeper failures - often missing the obvious glitch and instead looking into imaginary land for answers - constantly diverting the solution from patching to completely rewriting...
I think it suffers from performance anxiety...
----
The only solution I have found is to - rewrite the prompt from scratch, change the context myself, and then clear any "history or memories" and then try again.
I have even gone so far as to open nested folders in separate windows to "lock in" scope better.
As soon as I see the agent say "Wait, that doesnt make sense, let me review the code again" its cooked
- HR people are usually the least humane people on the Org chart. They often will include the worst offenders of out-of-touch views and often privileged lives whilst championing their own self interests yet gate keeping the ability from anyone else. HR is a disease - the worst of the worst .
- I have been doing something minor - not full language - but I am working on a couple DSLs for my game engine. The games themselves are interpreted by my engine console - then transpiled to webgl and JavaScript.
The DSL is for cutscenes and scripting dialogues and movements and transitions.
The idea was to have a screenplay like language that would run in my game engine so I can write the scenes like a script instead of like code.

Then I am using a LUA like subset for the core game logic.
I don’t think I would want to have the entire thing written in a custom language though, as that seems unnecessary
- It’s fascinating how society refuses to acknowledge the systemic predators (corporations like MindGeek and Roblox and OnlyFans etc) - but will constantly try to rake the moral high ground on political fads and petty crime.
It seems like the more horrific the crime - the more profitable it is to someone….once a business mode supports the criminals…. Well….at what point is it collusion, willingly turning a blind eye, so the execs maximize that next quarterly bonus —-
How much of a bonus is worth the mutilation and destruction of kids…. ?

Another question…. Why do the porn industry and the game industry both sequester themselves in Montreal primarily?
Is it the mafia in the city? Is it corrupted politicians? Is it taxes? What makes pedophiles and sexually exploitation and child grooming and Wokism…. Reside in Montreal in such abundance?
- It’s because everyone else is dumber than them…. So they constantly see avoidable mistakes and misunderstandings that could have been avoided…. Yet they cannot make the other people understand….because they think differently about it, and the people who don’t have that intelligence will not necessarily even be able to reorient their brains for the new information to be absorbed correctly.
I constantly get demoralized by stupid people….. it’s truly horrific. It’s a disability as far as I can see…I am disabled by others stupidity….

I have 10+ years of experience. I have worked in startups from the ground floor up through scale ups with 150 employees. I cofounded my own SaaS out of university, spent years consulting businesses, did freelance work, and contributed to some open source projects with PRs. I am studying game engine development and game design, studying Ancient Greek, and focusing on areas of digital sovereignty and cultural preservation. I like nature, skateboard, hobbyist photographer, and enjoy philosophy and ancient history. Additionally, I have a Bsc in Electrical Engineering.
I would like to work in antiquities, humanities, game design, ETL analytics platforms, and custom business logic, and also electronics and IoT.
- Hmmm....nope. Meth heads and stimulant junkies end up fried......unable to function until they get back to baseline and it takes month+ for every month of recreational use to return to baseline......
add in actual chronic usage of amphetamines and cocaine and you end up with the attention span of a mouse and are less functional after you re-up than you were before you ever started....
the impact is so stark from amphetamines and stimulants it's fascinating that until you clean yourself up...you won't see it
- I have to disagree. We work with Google services and Amazon - we use Google for our cloud services. They are league above amazon in every single way.
The only thing amazon has managed to ever get right is Routing (Route 53), Gateways, and pure AWS only stuff (like containers).
Once you try to incorporate any of their other services (Ads, Seller Central, Vendors, etc.) you see how bad it is.
Nothing works - yet you are still required to use AWS credentials for one purpose (IAM).
LWA is a separate thing from IAM - Oauth should be easy - everyone has figured it out, but Amazon's is so terrible, its not even funny.

I challenge you to try setting up the SP-API one day. You will see the pain.

- Honestly, the only thing I have found somewhat useful with LLMs is to get smarter tab complete and to occasionally fill out small methods in classes, and finally writing unit tests and adding documentation. it saves me a little time on mostly improving test coverage and readability. But until I give it some examples it usually hallucinates even method names within the class that are very similar but slightly different and some of the time saved is lost by having to fix it's mistakes. I would say it's improving my LoC output by maybe 5-15% max, but the tab complete is nice when writing code.
- awesome work! I have been trying to build something similar and originally built a basic prototype in pure JS and then converted to a react library but it became apparent that due to the extra performance cycles that it needs to be rewritten into wasm for the performance I want. I had a similar idea, community driven content and interchangeable packages for games and protocol specs around a common format that allows for scripting and assets to be simply loaded and changed much like a cartridge. glad to see others working on a similar idea! good luck!
- Context or domain shifting is how I tend to think of that skill and for me it is very visceral and spatial. the ability to shift between different contexts or domains and then much like walking into a new room, or getting off a plane in a new country or taking a staircase to a new level, you are exposed to new routes and options but you old ones leave you and to leave the area is to once again change contexts and return.
- Tbf. I don't think it's stripe....it's their issuing bank or Clearing bank. They need to use a bank and the banks are regulated with banking codes that determine the risk level. if they misrepresented the code it's a problem for stripe because they get dinged by their bank for being untrustworthy and if the codes are high risk ...it's high risk...
- I host most of my stuff myself. the only thing I need to setup is a backup and it's perfect. It's free (minus internet) and it runs my movies, music, streaming, files, previously emails, emulators, and it's smaller than my wifi router. boots and starts automatically and can be remotely managed (though I tend to keep it behind a switch that blocks remote admin)

Hi my name is Kyle - I have 10 Years professionally - Ex-cofounder Legaltech SaaS - Self-taught programmer and have been coding since starting with C++ in 2005 and Flash games.
I am passionate, hardworking, and strive to do my best and drive real change. I like working with highly engaged teams, where I can take on important roles with autonomy and be involved in the decision making process. I have a keen eye for product and customer fit - and I am always asking questions to ensure that I understand new information, perspectives, and priorities.
I am looking for team where there is a shared sense of purpose - and a long term vision. I want to work with a loyal group of people who aren't chasing fads, but who instead are focused on their customers, their employees, their product (or service) and who are focused on good fundamentals - not hype.
I am unemployed at the moment - and would really appreciate some reach outs. I am available ASAP - and hungry!
