- kcrwfrd_ parentI find this fun and whimsical, but surely it’s an accessibility nightmare.
- You need to configure it for static export if that’s what you want: https://nextjs.org/docs/app/guides/static-exports
But this won’t support all framework features. The default expectation for Next.js is with a server runtime for SSR.
- They should just do something like have parental controls that can configure the user agent with the user’s age, and require adult websites to not serve underage users.
It wouldn’t deter kids if you want to let them have unsupervised root access to a computer (like I enjoyed when I was 12), but I think it would be fairly effective for a walled garden like an iPhone
- Interesting
When they say iCloud passwords, do they mean
* iCloud passwords extension in chrome?
* safari?
* iOS safari?
iOS safari in particular seems to use native OS UI separate from the web page for password form auto completion, I would think it wouldn’t be susceptible?
And what about google chrome’s built in PW manager?
- I have had an advantage, advantage pro, advantage 2, and an advantage 360 pro.
The 360 comes close but it’s a miss for me. I really don’t like the omission of the function keys, and the switches feel muddied compared to the ones on the previous advantage keyboards.
If they fixed those two things and added another 1-2 keys to the thumb cluster, I think that would be the ultimate keyboard for me.
