- This is great. A few years ago, I decided to buy a WII U, since I have basically every Nintendo console system since the NES. But the gamepad screen was broken and I couldn't sync the gamepad to the screen until I fixed it. And I tried to see if there was any alternative, but there wasn't until now. Hopefully that means more WII Us can be saved... You can sometimes find used Wii Us for $30 without the gamepad, while the gamepad itself costs around $100..
- Even if US seems like it's acting in bad faith here, I rather the Pope not step into politics of this sort and concentrate more on the religious realm. It seems like the papacy would be stepping backwards if it got more involved in politics/geopolitics again, and not simply looking for peace.
- Except for a very important one. Taiwan is not internationally recognized as an independent country by almost all nation-states. And those few that recognize Taiwan (or rather ROC) as a country do not recognize PRC as a country.
You may say that ROC is a de facto separate country, although the constitution doesn't imply necessarily so, but simply that there's a different government.
The fact that the international community and even it's own constitution doesn't recognize it as an independent country shows that it's more than legal fiction and simply that de facto China is still under civil war.
- Is the per capita still rising rapidly? China's CO2 growth levels have already started leveling off, and actually showed a slight decline as of late.

- Are you talking about soma.fm?
- Same here. Listening to Sibelius right now using a Marantz 2220b with equally old KLH 6 speakers, and a raspberry pi + dac to use internet radio. Sounds great, and pretty amazed it's still just working even though it's already more than 50+ years old.
The only issue is volume control, due to not having a remote for lazier folk. I can control it digitally but don't like "shaving" off bits to control volume.
- A lot of the ghost cities news has been debunked as of late. When the news stories were coming out, a lot of the cities were just recently built. A decade+ later, a lot of the areas have been filled in...
- You have to look at non-gaap numbers, and therefore looking at forward PE ratios is necessary. When you look at that, AMD is cheaper than NVDA. Moreover, the reason why AMD PE ratio looks high is because they bought xilinx, and in order to save on taxes, it makes their PE ratio look really high.
- The definition of jurisdiction matters a lot here. But it's hard to explain why it would be that if someone who is here legal or illegal in the US, commits a crime is not subject to the jurisdiction of the US, and therefore should simply go free and be deported as if they were simply a diplomat, with diplomatic immunity...
There's many cases as well like the Gitmo cases that explain what "jurisdiction" means, and it doesn't even simply mean whether or not you are on US soil, but can be subjected to US laws, even when overseas.
