- fleischhaufI'm always impressed how fast people get used to new things. couple of years ago something like chatgpt was completely impossible, and now people complain it something's does mit do what you told it to and sometimes lies. (not saying your points are not valid or you should not raise them) Some of the points are just not fixable at this point due to tech limitations. A language model currently simply has no way to give an estimate of its confidence. Also there is no way to completely do away with hallucinations (lies). there need to be some more fundamental improvements for this to work reliably.
- the way people treat Llms these days is that they assign a lot more trust into their output than to random Internet sotes
- laughs in unhinged head of state that imposes arbitrary tarrifs on half of the world and mistakes dementia test for IQ test, says it's difficult
- why would it not be fine if the content is fine but it's fully AI generated? Just curious on why that would not be on with you
- that's already happening for Juniors, combination of ai and less funding
- why? aren't you desperately longing for trying to put into a prompt how a model should be animated? /s
- keyword is mostly here. it opens up the opportunities where there was really nothing before.
- how strong are you ?
- can I ask what language you are using AI for, there is also a difference in performance for AI in different languages
- as far as I understand they want the software on your device, at one point you need to decrypt if you want to read the message content
- from an intelligence perspective the human brain is ultra efficient
- die Fugger, best Game of my childhood! thanks for the reminder!
- could just be online for a start, then it's just time for the organization that you'd need. sounds like a fun project to be honest
- how do you measure ? genuinely interested, because I'm confronted with the same problem
- except the area is so hugely popular with people who unfortunately lack the rigor or curiosity to ask for this and blindly believe claims. for example this hugely popular repository https://github.com/x1xhlol/system-prompts-and-models-of-ai-t...
where the authors fail to explain how the prompts are obtained and how they prove that they are valid and not a hallucination.
- if you are the military and you are using drones to win a war, I don't think birds are your primary concern tho
- I don't know if that's something you should be congratulated for though
- pytorch, tensorflow, numpy there are quite a few examples ai/ml has been steadily more commodetized, so it's far from only being developed by mathematicians. Hence every highschools student and his mother has an AI startup now. (And I'm not even mad, it's actually very exciting to see what people come up with nowadays)
- who are these people who have 30 minutes in the morning to make a smoothie and develop software to learn a foreign language
- it even goes beyond trump unfortunately. how can others be sure that we won't someone like him again or worse in 8 years from now. Our system does not have safeguards against lunatics like him I would not trust the US either if I were from some other country.
