- You are conflating decentralized and distributed. BitTorrent is distributed, HTTP is decentralized.
- How is it illegal to file a DMCA takedown request if you believe you have legal standing to do so?
EDIT: The DMCA doesn't require that you have a law degree to submit a takedown request, it just requires that you truly believe it is infringing.
- Yes, it's called Git.
- USB tether is one less wireless signal to worry about. If you're tethering for a long time you're probably plugging your phone into your laptop anyway, to charge it.
- I wrote a paper about this in college but South Park does both. There are times where they are just poking turds at things and people they find funny, and there are times they try and be more poignant.
- Most marketing is tacky and desperate. At least in this case you get free food out of it.
- Many of these larger epaper displays are meant for very low refresh speeds - I'm talking 5 seconds plus. This one takes 6 seconds.

- Ah you are right, I misread HK and KK as the same.

Coffee companies are businesses, not charities or art projects. They exist to make money, that is their justification for existing.

People need to understand that "conflict of interest" does not mean "proof of wrongdoing", it means being in a situation where serving one interest could be a detriment to another. There is 100% a conflict of interest here.
- This is like when the food vendor at my old work raised the prices on soda. They claimed it was a health initiative, but they also increased the prices on diet soda and even bottled water.
- Educational video games have been around for like 40 years now, I don't see what would have changed to suddenly make them better.
- This is a separate tool, HIBP is still up and running.
- IME parcel has been much easier to use than webpack for medium-complexity projects.
- DropBox would work (that's what FB did), so would serving the video directly.
