- diweirich parentI had a Logitech G Cloud for a bit and found myself only using PS Remote Play because the other apps were too much of a hassle. The streaming from PS5 was flawless for me. I couldn’t tell it was streaming at all. Only issue I had was the game UI. Nothing was scaled up so trying to read anything was a task. I was not doing any multiplayer gaming though.

- I have started and stopped freelancing a few times now, each time basically just starting from scratch again. What works for me in the beginning is casting a net far and wide. You can post in the freelancer thread here in the beginning of the month, join programming Slack channels / Discords, sign up for freelancing services that aren't bottom of the barrel, reach out to recruiters, find forums with people that need your expertise, etc. There are a lot more options I am leaving out, but you get the picture. Once you get a few good clients if they are happy with you they may refer you to people they know, who in turn will do the same. Next thing you know you've got more work to do than you can handle. If you like building apps, you could focus on something that requires some custom work to go along with it. You could also use an app to advertise your consulting services to the users.

- 38" Ultrawide with Thunderbolt 3. Got rid of a ton of wires and the ugly hub on my desk. I no longer deal with random glitches that require restarting my computer to fix. It's just one seamless screen that makes my desk look clean and uncluttered. With one cable it charges my laptop while docked, provides audio and video, and carries USB signal from any USB devices plugged into the monitor (just a dongle for my keyboard/mouse). I'm in love with it.
- I'm not an expert on any of this, but I've been keeping a close eye on the legislation as I make most of my income as a contractor. From what I can surmise, there is still a lot of confusion among everyone, including lawyers, on how the language in the bill should be interpreted. They are supposed to be having webinars to help the public understand the impact it will have on them, but I have no idea when those will be or where they would even post that information.
Sorry I can't help you more, but keep an eye out for any info on the webinars.

- My goal is to find other freelancers to work alongside that have a similar work ethic. I want to find people who will collaborate and take ownership of a project on an equal level. Ideally people who aim to deliver not just a functioning "widget", but the best widget the client has ever seen.
- By strong work ethic, I suppose I mean someone who feels compelled to do good work. They feel a responsibility to make sure a task is completed as successfully as possible. An example of bad work ethic to me would be someone who is passive about the outcome of a task, won't take any extra steps to make sure it succeeds.
To give an example, thinking back to school days when doing a group project. There's the person that ends up doing all the work vs the person that takes advantage and just rides along until they are bugged enough to do something.

- You have to be careful with some of these big brand names. They tend to make a mix of good product and stuff that is sold at a higher price point with sexy marketing, but you're just paying 4x as much for the same audio quality as a $50 pair.
I've been tempted by wireless headphones, but I would personally stick with wired. Not a fan of noise cancelling. Depending on your budget, my brand choice from low to high would be Sennheiser > Grado > ZMF.
- That would be a tough sell for me personally, but it wouldn't have anything to do with the workstation.
1) Flexible hours. I just can't stand the thought of knowing that between the hours of 9 and 6 I know I'm going to be sitting at a desk for the foreseeable future. I need to be able to mix things up.
2) Easy commute and parking.
3) Genuinely good co-workers and environment that I like being around.

- I was around a lot of entrepreneurs growing up, mostly small business owners. Sometimes they made money, sometimes a lot of money. There were also times in between when they made no money and had to borrow from each other to keep from losing everything. They kept doing it because they loved it and didn't want to work for anyone else.
It's a rollercoaster, but I don't think any of them regret it.
