  1. If you're traveling as a regular passenger, you still would not have a fiduciary relationship with Boeing and you have no confidentiality obligations regardless of who else is on the plane.
  2. I’m speculating here, but I suspect a significant factor in her video’s removal was the part where she displayed a rough hand-drawn diagram of the assembly a fractal wood burning kit. She deliberately left out a lot of detail, but perhaps it was still too much for YouTube’s content moderation team.
  3. Trading live music for GDP seems like a good deal. Although, I completely agree that SG does feel like an efficient well run corporate campus.
  4. > On average, one model is probably around $500.

That's a pretty impressive budget, there must be hundreds of models in the game.

  5. I understand if you wish to keep it private, but what was the name of the .io game you worked on?
  6. I don't think Tom Scott ever promoted a VPN product in a YouTube video. He's actually quite selective with his brand deals. From his contact page regarding ads:

    * If you're asking about pay-per-click or pay-per-lead advertising, the answer will be no. Please don't ask.

    * I do not review products or apps.

    * I am unable to accept sponsorship from apps or games that contain microtransactions or gambling.

  7. What kinds of non-public research tools do PIs have access to?
  8. If you bought an NFT, it's more likely you bought an address that points to a JPEG, not the JPEG itself. Of course you can save the JPEG locally just like any other JPEG unrelated to NFTs.
  9. I really like the live web cam feeds. They give some action movie hacker vibes!
  10. It's interesting to note that Minecraft uses this library.

  11. Not from the exterior. When full self driving beta mode is active, there is a circular, blue steering wheel icon visible at the top of the car's control screen. So unless you're inside the Tesla, you won't be able to tell.
  12. Did you describe your child using weight instead of age?
  13. I've watched every single freely available GDC talk on game netcode and read countless netcode guides and I keep coming back to yours. You've done a wonderful job at explaining the core concepts in detail without bogging the reader down with nitty gritty implementation details and code!
  14. > no one was allowed on the website until the back up was done

I'm assuming this was an internal website and backups were scheduled for evenings/weekends?

  15. Can you elaborate on the list of problems with no-code? Of course I'm not denying there are problems with no-code, I'd like to learn about other developers' issues, particularly with larger, longer-term projects.
  16. I believe you also need to use the WASD keys to move the food objects around while still holding down left click.
  17. I had to hold left click while also pressing WASD to control the direction of the food objects. Chrome 91 & Firefox 89 on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
  18. The video generation demo is pretty neat but it took nearly 2 minutes to finish rendering. I'd be interested to know how this scales under high workloads and how updates can be deployed without disrupting long running processes like this one.
  19. It's interesting to note that despite most of his wealth coming from casinos, he didn't actually enter the industry until around age 55.
