  1. > That's the definition of a witch hunt

You gave examples of a witch hunt. Not definition.

  2. Visited Iran twice. They had a huge billboard that says “Down with USA”. However that sentiment is nowhere to be found in the individual-level interactions during my stay there.
  3. 3X means what you got done in 30 days now only takes 10 days, yeah?

66.7% time saving just by having AI doing boring stuff.

  4. Measured for a year, my team overall shipped 60% of issues WFH than when in office. WFH was nice for some colleagues but clearly not working for the team. We promptly change back to in office when able.
  5. > They were trying to wash money back to China

Surely you meant they were trying to wash money out of China.

  6. 4) games come in a retail box accompanied by detailed manuals, booklets printed with back stories, and some swags.
  7. I take it you mean well built and well run nuclear plant you.

Also is it most prone to human error?

  11. Some would argue that arming oneself is the pursuit of peace.
  12. I was replying to another thread. I repeat here. My dad has hypertension due to [Conn's syndrome](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primary_aldosteronism). The only thing that helped tremendously was surgery.

You could of course argue that if he ate a ton of salt, his blood pressure would surge. But I wish he would've taken the surgery sooner rather than trying to out-diet and out-exercise his genetics as the diet/exercise had really small effect.

  14. If publisher accounts can be billed by the payment processor every month instead of every transaction and processor charges based on a percentage of monthly transaction.

I feel this is a business negotiation instead of a tech issue. But then I may be just clueless.

  15. Having gone through half a century of Japanese period, Taiwan also calls bread "pan".
  16. In Taiwan, we have a very large number of SMB which operates out of someone's apartment. If an apartment unit is up to office building code, then the apartment unit can be certified for a business license. Sometimes constructions are done to combine 2 or 3 apartment units into one bigger office.

So office sites may not be gone forever but could be converted for small businesses. (if Chicago laws allow it)

  17. The person you replied to said nothing about blue light but bright light.

Are you claiming bright light does not affect sleep?

  18. Was in a local bid for a tender. Foxconn was demanding net 180 or off the program if supplier can’t stomach it.
