- amunozoI tried the same with my father's little village (Zarza Capilla, in Spain), and it gave a surprisingly good answer in a couple of seconds. Amazing.
- You will, most people won't.
- And yet all of the cleaners are foreigners.
- This is simply not possible as they depend on the EU for everything, and the EU requires having free movement of people. Just populist nonsense.
- Any link on that?
- The difference is that AI is a huge array of technologies (not only LLMs) and are being used in several fields with different, useful purposes.
There's a cult and a bubble too, though, and I agree with that part.
- Should I root for the democratic OpenAI, Google or Microsoft instead?
- The motive is to destroy the American supremacy on AI, it's not that deep. This is much easier to do open sourcing the models than competing directly, and this can have good ramifications for everybody, even if the motive is "bad".
- If almost all times you refer to a number is base 10, it is very redundant to mention it every time.
- What a silly thing, I really really like it. Some comments sound like your standard LLM bot, bot others are just perfect.
- It's been three years of amazing use cases and discoveries, and in those same years we got things like Ozempic. You can be skeptical of all the hyped things that are said that may be exaggerated without negating the good side.
- There are issues with Europe, no doubt. But this kind of comment is ridiculous.
- I did not think about it that way, but it makes perfect sense. And it is really scary. It hasn't even been a year since Trump's second term started. We still have three more years left.
- Industrial machinery is only making workers weak, lazy and prone to replacement.
Jokes aside, as any tool, it depends on how you use it. I think the problem is not AI assistance but the ever existing urgency and lack of patience of nowadays, which leads to everything to be done as fast as possible with no toleration to any waiting time. This plus language models is a really band combination that would lead to a disaster way before AGI or anything like that is remotely close.
- I don't know if there is a market for it, but I know that open weights puts pressure on the closed-models companies into releasing their weights and losing their privileged situations.
- Of course, but that translates in a benefit for most people, even for Americans. In my case (European), I cannot but support the Chinese companies in this respect, as we would be especially in trouble if the common models are the norm.
- The lights are make it the most beautiful interior I've ever seen.
