  1. When is your book coming out? (I'd love to read it)
  2. I was more responding to OP's tongue in cheek comment about government assigned addresses
  3. They're the last large one that does not charge.
  4. I think it's the other way around? Most UK networks seem to charge charge now (the big ones anyway, EE, Vodafone etc.).

At least in Germany, none of our networks do.

  5. As an aside, I find it really sad that, having a de-Googled Anroid phone, it's actually easier for me to download the Apple Wallet .pkpass files

Anything to do with Google Wallet passes just forwards me to a Google login page.

  6. Wow thanks for this, was using the above linked addon myself until I read your comment.
  7. Next up please do streaming. Chromecast seems so locked down so take AirPlay and make it a standard.

Then instead of just opening up NFC, make Google and Apple Wallet support plugins, so users can have one interface with all their cards but not tied to one payment system.

  8. As you imply though, it remains for on-premise. They're working on msgraph as well luckily.
  9. Could it not be argued that ISPs should be forced to block users with vulnerable devices?

They have all the data on what CPE a user has, can send a letter and email with a deadline, and cut them off after it expires and the router has not been updated/is still exposed to the wide internet.

  10. I get why you do so, but the European Union is always shortened to EU, not UE.

It would be as if I wrote a sentence, "The EWG was created by the treaty of Rome in 1957".

What is EWG? Oh yes its the German abbreviation for the EEC. But we're writing in English?

  11. Thought so too, though I also recall seeing WorkOS urls when configuring SCIM.
  12. Can't complain so far, reddit loads in the evenings again.
  13. Last time I checked it's still US/Canada only. Luckily I only needed code-signing for an internal app, so we just used our own PKI and pushed the certs over MDM.
  14. Can confirm, recently moved to o2, it was insufferable.

    For anyone wondering: netzbremse.de/

    EN https://netzbremse.de/en/

  15. That's not relevant. Over a Deutsche Telekom phone line you can choose an ISP. The ISP sometimes has a layer two connection to you and therefore has their own infrastructure or they have a layer 3 connection in which case you suffer from the Telekom policies.

Layer 2 = their infrastructure connects you to the internet

Layer 3 = theyre literally just a reseller, DTAG is providing your internet connection, the ISP just billing etc.

  16. Their whole recent rewrite of the DB code (to Entity Framework) is to allow the user choice of DB in future.
  17. Seeing users having issues with the "Modern Outlook", specifically empty accounts. Switching back to the "Legacy Outlook" which functions largely without the help of the cloud fixes the issue. How ironic.
  18. Ahh then yes that's a super valid point. I've seen shops sell 10mg per tablet. 0.5mg already does the trick for me.
  19. The linked article doesn't mention tolerance at all? I don't believe there is any evidence out there to suggest that melatonin tolerance is a thing.
  20. I don't believe there is any evidence that you develop a tolerance. As a side note, Melatonin changed my life.
  21. I believe it was an anecdote and not a recommendation.
  22. What's up with the comments here?

Either just reading the "base" part and plugging some unrelated service, or claiming source available is the same as open source

  23. And said file systems are in C; I believe the whole point of RedoxOS is rust everywhere.

If you're going to have to write it from scratch (since rust), might as well make your own.

  24. Reductio ad absurdum.
