  1. more like now Nvidia wants to release their own ASIC to combat google
  2. Yea if this had 5g it would be worth it
  3. This is for those not aware of that setup lmao
  4. Sharing where? All my devices can connect directly thru to Wireguard vpn on my home network. Ipad, iphone, MBP, etc

A 5g phone tethering to your Wireguard connected MBP beats this out of the water

  5. Aka its the next stage of stackoverflow/google search
  6. whats the point of this? I got wireguard on my phone connected to my home network (also unifi).

If this device had a 5g sim slot, then I could see the point but it’s not that.

  7. Only because of Apples unified memory architecture. The groundwork is there, we just need memory to be cheaper so we can fit 512+GB now ;)
  8. How cheap is glm at Cerebras? I cant imagine why they cant tune the tokens to be lower but drastically reduce the power, and thus the cost for the API
  9. this doesn’t mean much if you hit daily limits quickly anyway. So the API pricing matters more
  10. Eh sonnet 4.5 was better at Rust for me
  11. If only C++ had a fully supported cargo system
  12. Not really since those vendored libraries would have their own dependencies as well
  13. I found you have to start entirely new sessions once you reach a “flagged” hardcoded response like this. You cant escape it once it is poisoned
  14. I was shocked when my girl first told me she worked 9 to 9, I couldnt believe it
  15. AI still a mind virus, vibe coding hasn’t taught me anything. It just allowed me to ship microservices that I dont understand. In the past I would’ve had to learn it through tutorials and docs, and in the end I would be in a better place with my new found knowledge.

But with vibe coding, there is no knowledge transfer.

  16. Cant imagine being forced to use a linux PC for work lmao
  17. Those are basically just scripts on inputs, pretty much nothing like aimbot or wallhacks
  18. Or consoles. PS5 is pretty good for a cheat free environment
  19. I think before the industrial revolution, things definitely moved a lot slower.
  20. That's because Edison vs. Tesla was really mostly theoretical with some funds for engineering (and marketing). The space race is really mostly engineering which requires lots of money.
