- aio2 parentReminds me of the DOS game Executive Suite, I liked the demo (got the best path)!
- I don't have much to say about the focus of your comment, but I do want to talk about this:
"When you’re a kid you typically see wild new things like that as just normal because you have no context for how unusual they are."
NOT TRUE! I remember then (and even now) looking at unique things in awe and amazement, rather than something normal or ordinary.
Just what I think :)
- Damn.
I don't know if this started the whole movement or whatever you'd call it for this push towards privacy and the general public knowing about it, but it helped a lot. Before him releasing info about room 641A and whatever else, there really wasn't definitive evidence of any government spying and tampering, and either with the intention of starting this movement or simply letting people know, he was a big push in the right direction.

- While fruits are packed with sugar, eating fruit also comes with fiber. This extra digestion slows the intake of sugar into the bloodstream, and getting fat/unhealthy from sugar comes from to much of it going through the liver. Because you may have too much sugar at a time, the liver needs help from the pancreas, which secretes insulin to store the sugar, which makes you fat.
- The emissions from vehicles are different from plastics produced by factories.
Also, while important, 2-3% of world emissions is a drop in the bucket compared to the other 97%. Let's consider the other causes and how we can fix them.
Think about this: for many people, not driving to work is a big deal. If people collectively decide to do that, that's a lot of effort and inconvenience just for 2-3%.
- It won't work. I've done it.
What happens is it's usually done by a lazy teacher who has no idea what they're even teaching. Most kids won't be motivated to learn and watch from the videos.
I consider myself studious. When I was in that class, I watched all the video lessons and whatnot at home. Even then, I had a poor understanding of the material, and obviously the teacher was of no help.
Although not much better, a lecture is better of the two. Hands on learning in the best, but not necessarily possible with certain subjects.

- I don't know, but I think it is unfair to put all responsibility onto the business owner. In theory, a job is an agreement where you work for someone, and they pay you. Certain benefits may be required depending on circumstances, but making companies provide so many benefits is not a fair option.
Keep in mind, I'm not opposed to companies providing benefits, but I think regulating this would create more trouble than good.
