  1. Yes but if you are building an voice activated autonomous flying hammer then you either want it to be very good at differentiating heads from hammers OR you should restrict its use.
  2. In my experience because you're picking up from the Argos you can do an instant return if you realize you ordered wrong (or the item is rubbish). Not perfect but a good way to get your hands on the product with an easy refund option
  3. That would be in, "The Year 3000's Best SciFi Ideas"
  4. This anecdote does not really feel like an argument that dating apps suck. Sounds like you were using them wrong somehow
  5. "If the apps can keep you getting dates, not partners, they can keep you on the app and happy."

I know this sounds judgemental but I'm not convinced the people going on lots of dates are "Happy" even if they're being successful in dating and hookups.

  6. It looks like you've been downvoted but no one has replied to tell you that your comment seems to be very under-informed about diseases and vaccines. I suggest you google Tetanus for a start
  7. This is a really good question. Sadly the answer is that they think it's how the system is meant to work. Well that seems to be the answer that I see coming from police spokespeople
  8. I hope they give it a new name with the rebirth. I know it means something to some people but there are a lot of different things with that name
  9. But then it wouldn't be the internet
  10. A leading question is a totally different thing from jumping to conclusions
  11. Oh I was hoping for a written down reference from an organisation responsible for giving medical advice rather than an single doctor.
  12. Provide a reference please. Which country is that from?
  13. I will Google but wanted to point out that I have no idea what "electric baseboards" are.

It's funny how different houses are around the world. Even in similar latitudes/climate.

  14. I think OP was incorrect in writing, "thermodynamics appear to work differently", in Exhalation.

I think the thermodynamics works the same and you've nailed it by describing it as hermetically sealed perfection. It's a simpler world where a self-aware being can see and almost feel the march of entropy and their own brief existence being part of that.

  15. I feel the author of the article shows extraordinary hubris in writing, "his lack of output being tragic for a generational talent".
  16. Unless Boomers live long enough to spend the inheritance on nursing homes
  17. Does your sister-in-law have family who could support her and the child?
  18. You might want to expand your comment to make it clear that the astronauts were 'stranded' by the Boeing Starliner and not by SpaceX Falcon/Dragon
  19. That's a revolting inhumane comment.
  20. From Google:

The turbine model V236-15.0 MW from Vestas features a capacity of 15 MW and a 236-meter diameter rotor with hub height of about 145 meter, highest tip of 263 meter.

    ... 236 meters
