- It appears Raku runtime improve a lot. It used to end last in comparisons like that, by a large margin, and now is surpassing Perl and CPython.

Once they break even they can overshoot into shocking new technology territory.
- Because of this I hope the current AI fad is a bubble and it bursts soon. So instead of cheap investment drying up the market for individual consumers, we'll have lots of used corporate hardware selling at scrap prices to end users.

- Could the buyers just send their own ships to retrieve oil from Venezuela? Say, China sends a oil tanker, I imagine it would be trickier for US Navy to just sink or steal it.
- > If it turns out the LLM is trying to kill us by cancelling our meetings and emailing people that we're crazy that would suck.
It's more likely it will try to kill us by talking depressed people into suicide and providing virtual ersatz boyfriends/girlfriends to replace real human relationships, what is a functional equivalent to cyber-neutering, given people can't have children by dating LLMs.

Naively I would assume it should be better to get it early, as a younger immune system has better odds to react strongly to the antigen, providing long lasting protection. Often the elderly organism doesn't react, or the reaction is too weak, to vaccine stimulation. E.g. see https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S01652...

There is Rkward[1], available from the repositories in many linux distributions.
Discovered it recently, because I'm currently learning R, and few linux distributions outside the Mandriva family offer Rstudio straight from the repositories, and I'm lazy to download and do a manual install every time.
