- PlastikduscheI think he's referring to g of meat and not pure protein. I'd say that the number is pretty close or maybe even low. I mean it's not just steak /chicken /burgers, Bacon, lunch meat, sausage etc all adds up.
- Actually thought the article was about viome at first lol
- Have you tried pyinstaller? Works pretty well for simple cli tools or tkinter apps. There's already predefined docker images with all of the necessary wine hacks that just consume your code + requirements.txt and spit out a exe.
- Yes, that's what I'd recommend too.
Had a few days off and dived into my vim setup /plug-ins for python, but ended up with pycharm again. I could emulate most of pycharm (pros) features, but what made me end up going back to pycharm was the refactoring capabilities. Rope just didn't come close, while pycharm makes it trivial and rarely misses anything. Well that and having to manage all of these plug-ins on different OS/ python versions can become a time sink too. E.g. started out with vundle, but it did not support some of the features I needed to get an older commit of a plugin that was barely maintained anymore, so ended up rewriting the.vimrc with a different plugin manager... Etc etc
- Wondering how much their annual cloud bill would have looked like compared to the bill they now got
- Very cool approach indeed, but there's also this ;)

- I guess that would be survivorship bias? There are at least twice as many people living and "everyone here hates Munich and doesn't want to live there". I even know someone who works in Munich, but lives in Berlin. Jedem das seine ;)
- Do you have a source that natural gas is the largest carbon emissionss contributer? Genuinely curious, because over here in Germany gas companies (Gazprom.. ;)) market themselves as the opposite and the same argument is used for cars running on natural gas. I know that's just PR, but I thought it produces less emissions because it burns more efficiently than other fossil fuels.
- Being able to block certain channels / videos is something I want to try out one day, well mainly just Blippi. We watch YouTube with our 3year old and it's near impossible to avoid his videos being suggested to you. While the content itself is fine, I feel like he crosses a line how bluntly he pushes his toys / videos on to his viewers. Along the lines of "go tell your parents, siblings, babysitters to download/ buy my stuff"
