- This is what I use: https://www.drudgereportfeed.com/ on both desktop and mobile. Easier on the eyes...
- Verbose, meandering and hopeful all spelled out in over 8,000 words. My own conclusion.... the cowardly countries of the world will do nothing to upset the US, they will not even consider uniting as a coalition because they don't trust each other enough. It's a dog eat dog world now.
They will do less to empower their own people. In fact, empowering people seem to be on the bottom of the list for most countries.
If we keep believing hopeful dribble like this, we get nowhere. There was nothing actionable here, no call to arms, no organization, no solutions.
You can't undo 25 years of a well engineered, intertwined logistical nightmare maintain by trillions of dollars and millions of people... by the "possible" action of a single country that may possibly, hopefully, maybe... repeal a thing.
It's this kind of hopeful rhetoric that keeps the current system humming happily and the billionaire class drinking champagne. The world has changed. There is a new world order coalescing and gaining strength. It is the one that entered a sovereign country and stole their oil.
There is a true ruling class emerging and the rest of us that will serve them.

- This was the first time I ever tried creating AI generated music. Easier than I thought. This could be fun. I do not like that the only way to sign-in (create an account) is with gmail. How odd.
I degoogled. I'll only be using the free option. Even if I hadn't degoogled, I wouldn't have opted to tie an account to google this way.
- I used to get emails where the entire message was on the subject line. It's funny now when I think about it.
What wasn't funny was having my actual email submitted to chain letters or copied to all their contacts with every email they sent.
Training on the basics is a necessary good:-)
- This is really good. Nice bird's eye view. I love the option to translate into English but too often it only does the first and/or second row of headlines and no translation afterwards.
I'm using Brave (where the translations partially work) and Librewolf (where it fails possibly because it's more locked down).
- It didn't know webarchive.me existed. What a great time capsule if you start here: http://webarchive.me/geocities/ (I wonder how much space this is taking up)
Quick search on google using site search (site:http://webarchive.me) produces only this site (that is - google is not indexing the site... sigh).

I was having the same problem until I scrolled down for the full instructions:
1. . SSH Key Ready?
You'll need an SSH key. Don't have one? Generate like this:
ssh-keygen -t ed25519 -C "your_email@example.com"
Steps (2) and (3) are straight forward. No issues at all logging in and seeing the welcome screen. Feels like a static version of IRC...
- Interesting, fun. Suggestion:
I really miss not seeing the results.
After answering several questions, I really wanted to see what the final jury decision was. I saw a question from a father asking about leaving his assets to his children. I would want to know what the other 11 random people selected (for various reasons).
Without this feature, I think I might start to lose interest because it'll start to feel like I'm clicking into the empty, voiceless void.
- The article did not include a list of companies and individuals who benefit financially (and otherwise) from denying climate change. And then... cross-referencing that list with members of the US Congress.
Too many of our representatives have long ago sold themselves (and this country) to outside money and influence. At this point, this is common knowledge.
- I reject the use of the term "power user" for someone who keeps 7,500 tabs open.
Reminds me more of those newb users who had several dozen toolbars (and stuff...) running on Internet Explorer[0]. Or... current newb mobile users who need help closing the hundreds of tabs they have running:

- When he isn't talking about medicine, I get very strong Chris McCandless vibes. That need to be free, away from modern life, the demands, the unnecessary stress. Maybe get away from people too (which is harder to admit to... people directly).
I haven't come across a video yet but I'm sure he's better prepared for outdoor living than some others that have done similar. There's a large sub-community of Van Lifers doing similar. With a little planning and preparation, it's a great life. Especially for those that clearly need to get away from it all.
I can't imagine how difficult the decision was. He basically said that his entire 9 year career was emotionally difficult. That is a heavy burden to bear for so long. I'm certain that his upbringing, his years of preparation, the expectations of the world... made the decision to walk away (without a plan) seem overwhelming.
Still... he broke free from all of that!
Honestly... I feel so happy for him. To be able to make the decision and implement it. To be at a point where he can begin talking about it, freely. To be connected to civilization on his terms. To live his life in a way that makes him happy.
