  1. Which bring to mind those bottles of Napoleon era champagne found preserved under pressure in a ship wreck. Any info on how those turned out or was the one opened a palatable vinegar?
  2. To add to this TX and the SW USA are currently (been 20 years now) experiencing an extended drought. Water levels are at an all time low; many lakes are almost dry; and even the aquifers are getting a bit frumpy. As sidewndr46 said, ain't no water to pump.
  3. Reply to the texts with "dick pics"...but of horse or cow penis. Chances are pretty good he will block you or just stop soon after the first. For email...auto reply with links to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goatse.cx or go for the the rabbit hole and toss out a random OnlyFans /Ashley Madison / Grinder page.

  5. Isn't that the point of this, to gather them together and let them die in a drug addled slavery. Wasn't this the big surprise end of spoilers A Scanner Darkly or reminicent of "The Planet of Sin" in one of Heinlein's stories? All they guy needs is some South American mind control drug and he can then change his name to "Jim Jones".
  6. I wouldn't say Rolls-Royce, more like Lexus. Fuddruckers would be closer to Rolls quality as they actually allow for something other than well-done, preformed, meat pucks.
  7. Sooo...the TLDR would be...it takes a village to decompose a body?!
  8. Just a side question but, is the term "straya" a regional shortening of Australia? I've always heard it from friends as "Oz" or "Aus".
  9. Only if he is in charge of thought crimes.
  10. And that is no laughing matter!
  11. Welcome the media problem in the USA. How many riots have we had for the exact same reasons you describe. Wag the Dog; Bread & Circus; etc. are alive & well.
  12. Or how about the fed gets its money from the states and the states figure out taxes.
  13. Fruit are scary! The brits used to give lessons (1970's) on defending yourself against a variety of fruit attacks, here is a clip (https://youtu.be/MlroOdP8p2Y)
  14. Why bring a gun to "peaceful" protest? To protect you from the other protesters? To protect you from the cops? Seems like poor thinking on the part of the dead guy no matter which option...unless the aim was a publicity stunt.
  15. They'd best hope they aren't assigned to the games grid, I hear its pretty brutal.
  16. I worked for Origin at the time as a UO Admin using the handle GM Snarf, we had a control console on our standard installs which allowed us to toggle "god mode", "smite", cast spell, create item, create gold, summon monster, etc. If you forgot to toggle god mode after logging into your avatar stupid things would happen and the players would screen shot it to spread the fun. I remember forgetting to toggle it before responding to a customer call and getting insta-killed by a dragon.
  17. I'll second your opinion, the amount of BS powerpoint fud we now have to go through because of Snowden et al is fraud waste & abuse of the highest level. The fact that he & Manning are so revered for their crimes is astounding.
  18. There was a push for something like that and it would have been great...it fell afoul of NIMBY and Toll road haters. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Texas_Corridor Everyone in Austin hated SH-45 & 130 when they were built, they were practically empty for a few years to my delight as I could travel the entirety of Austin in a fraction of the normal time even during rush hours. After MOPAC was added residents began to see the light and the tollways are now congested. Many are regretting their opposition to Perry's lost/last road project but, that train has left the station unless Elon can get the Boring project going or Virgin is able to implement their version of Hyperloop. Hell, I'd have settled for elevated wire gondolas over the roads, works well enough for Australia.
  19. CMMC is a framework that wasn't really there before. Sure it has bad points but, it at least moves things forward in the right direction and makes things more visible. The problem I've encountered with it is that PHBs want things hidden or "creatively mitigated" to pass inspection. Security would be much better if an independent 3rd party were used to audit all RMF/CMMC packages. That is usually not the case.
  20. YT as opposed to what, Comedy Central Daily Show that a generation seems to have gotten their news from? At least on YT you can (currently) pick & choose from politically varied points of view though many creators do seem to be jumping ship because of YTs draconian content policies.
