  1. Sorry, what do you mean?
  2. Does this mean that cooking at lower temperatures will lead to lower pressure and less moisture loss?
  3. A benevolent dictator.
  4. What you say is fair but if an individual's data doesn't matter, what happens when they ask to have their data deleted under GDPR. is there a way to demux their data from existing models?
  5. Would that not mean that Shazaam is illegal Germany? From my limited searching it doesn't seem like it is.
  6. Thanks, I only do it for the childish laughs! It crazy how it shaped so much yet only a very specific slice of people know it exists.
  7. That's what I have been trying to do with the B3ta site[0]. It is a UK humour site forum that was founded in the very early 2000s. I have been looking after it's backend for about five or so years, trying to modernise what I can and keep it stable and maintainable. I have learnt a lot of respect for people who create a site like Spacehey, it quickly spirals in to a job in itself.

  8. The post is saying that it is a people problem. The gist is that efficient or beautiful architecture does not mirror efficient or beautiful management.
  9. If a service which provides metrics supports multiple tenants wouldn't those metrics at the very least need a label to indicate which tenant the metrics are for?
  10. They are a great set of articles. Kevin is a fountain of retro games knowledge and very interesting to talk to, as a bonus.
  11. I can thoroughly recommend the site's author's other pieces. His atomic dissection of UK comedy shows goes much further than you would realistically expect from an individual. Yet at the same time the articles and the writing are interesting and engaging. If you thought that it would be boring to read an exposé of how one doorway was reused in the background of series I, II and X of Red Dwarf and no others then weirdly, you would be wrong.

  12. No difference for me, in frequency or volume.
  13. I think that it would make an illegitimate job posting for example.com look legitimate as LinkedIn scraped it and posted it in LinkedIn's example.com profile page.
  14. You are not able to, or at least should not be able to debug your code in production. More than likely all you will have is your logs.
  15. I've had success with Valerian, it is a quite mild sedative and anti-anxiety root. It's just enough to get over the pre-presentation anxiety and get in to the flow.
  16. I have to ask what your weirdest experience is then?
  17. The Wikipedia article about it mentions using Article V against itself, slowly erroding it and the Constitution. That doesn't seem like the loophole Godel might be concerned about. if he did find something more concerning then given his skills this looks like nearly perfect security by obscurity.
  18. That's honestly a heart wrenching story. Your bravery to write it as straight as you have is testament to you. You obviously cared a lot about the film and the people you worked with. That will go with you.
  19. I agree with the first half of this. The second half implies that the original designer felt that historical comments were important, which I think any social MVP will disagree with.
  20. You are not the first person I have met with that exact same sentiment.

It feels like there is a desire for the same hacky frontend yet no one wants to invest.
