I could be anybody. Even your neighbor.

  1. My personal favorite section these days is the paintings[1]. Could browse through for hours.

  2. This is the coolest thing I've seen on this thread. Single purpose and a very nice, crystal clear homepage.
  3. I really liked your extension having used it in the past. Great job and really useful! If you don't mind me asking, how do you manage the paid features from a technical point of view? Do you give paid users a token to enter in the extension which then activates certain features or is it something else?
  4. It is interesting to see the "DeepMind" branding completely vanish from the post. This feels like the final consolidation of the Google Brain merger. The technical report mentions a new "MoE-lite" architecture. Does anyone have details on the parameter count? If this is under 20B params active, the distillation techniques they are using are lightyears ahead of everyone else.
  5. Does anyone else feel like the "Trust" angle is the only card they have left to play? Technically, Chrome is faster on JS benchmarks. Edge has better OS integration on Windows and comes by default. Safari wins on battery life on Mac. Firefox's only unique selling point is "We aren't a massive data vampire." If they clutter the browser with AI which inherently requires data processing, often in the cloud, they dilute their only true differentiator.
  6. So...who's right? This comment or the parent comment? I don't use signal and these are contradictory to me. Just wanna know what's the actual policy.
  7. I liked reading this but got a silly question as I am a noob in these things. If explicit caching is better, does that mean the agent is just forgetting stuff unless we manually save its notes? Are these things really that forgetful? Also why is there a virtual file system? So the agent is basically just running around a tiny digital desktop looking for its files? Why can't the agent just know where the data is? I'm sorry if these are juvenile questions.
  8. The whole text regarding this reads:

"We’re exploring preloading File Explorer in the background to help improve File Explorer launch performance. This shouldn’t be visible to you, outside of File Explorer hopefully launching faster when you need to use it. If you have the change, if needed there is an option you can uncheck to disable this called “Enable window preloading for faster launch times” in File Explorer’s Folder Options, under View. Looking forward to your feedback! If you do encounter any issues, please file them in the Feedback Hub under Files Folders and Online Storage > File Explorer Performance, or Files Folders and Online Storage > File Explorer."

  9. Absolutely amazing pose, thanks for sharing!
  10. What can nano-banana do that chatGPT made images can't? Or is it only better for image editing from what I can gather from these comments so far. I haven't used it so genuinely curious.
