  1. I'd rather see Crystal on Rails. Combines the elegance of Ruby with the performance of a compiled language. And of course: macro support.
  2. There doesn't have to be a single silver bullet for PTSD. The beauty of science and medicine is that we can explore multiple avenues simultaneously. Ketosis has shown promise for some, including you, which is great. However, different people respond differently to treatments. Instead of pitting methods against each other, why not advocate for a more inclusive approach? Embracing multiple methods makes sense because PTSD is complex and affects individuals differently. The goal should be to find what works best for each individual, not to win a treatment popularity contest. Let's push for more research into all promising methods. That way, we can build a more comprehensive understanding of PTSD treatment options and hopefully help more people find relief.
  3. I see your point, but I think a collaborative feedback initiative could really help improve the Linux ecosystem. While each distro has its own identity, gathering insights on why users revert to Windows could highlight common pain points that many distros face. This isn’t about pushing for uniformity; it’s about sharing knowledge that could help each distro enhance its offerings. Plus, collaboration could attract more developers and showcase the strengths of Linux as a whole. Ultimately, it’s about making Linux more appealing and accessible, benefiting everyone in the community—whether they’re new users or seasoned veterans.
  4. Linux distros should collaborate on a unified feedback initiative to boost adoption. The major distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSUSE, etc.) could create a joint survey site targeting Windows users who have tried Linux but reverted back. This would provide invaluable data on pain points preventing wider Linux adoption.Questions like: What Windows-specific software or functionality did you miss most on Linux? If you could change one thing about Linux, what would it be? What was your primary reason for returning to Windows?
  5. Just wanted to share my experience with combining OpenCAD and some AI models for small-scale 3D printing projects. So far, it's been a real game-changer. The precision and accuracy have been impressive.

Has anyone else taken this combo to the next level? I'm curious to know if there are any brick walls I'm not seeing yet. Are there limitations or challenges that come with scaling up this approach? Would love to hear about others' experiences with OpenCAD + AI in 3D printing.

  6. I'd suggest offering at least one free query to allow users to evaluate the service.
  7. The unfortunate current state of the OS market: If you want a system that generally works without much hassle, Windows is the go-to choice, albeit with increasingly intrusive policies. For those who prefer customization, Linux offers a wealth of options, but be warned: if you lack a developer's background, your custom setups might break after an update. On the other hand, if you're looking for a rock-solid OS with minimal customization, macOS is your best bet, though you'll pay a premium and be locked into specific hardware. Personally, I wish Linux could take the lead in this battle, but it really needs to consolidate its resources to make a stronger impact.
  8. Take note that all these victims were either employed or had insurance coverage. It's telling that they're not targeting the local homeless individual for 'care.' Which makes this more disgusting.
