    You could have two copies of the OS mapped to different memory regions. The CPU would boot with the first copy, if it fails watchdog would trigger and the CPU could try to boot the second copy.

  6. Its not about age, its about complexity. HTTP/1.1 client is trivial to implement.
  7. HTTP/1.1 is still heavily used in embedded system.
  8. BTRFS is fine if you use it on enterprise grade hardware, if you use it on consumer hardware expect to lose data.

    All i want is some cheap RAM for my PC.

  10. The page is 320KB in size. They could have made it a static page with some simple HTML, the whole thing would have been under 10KB and would not have needed a CDN.
