- What portion of lab mice are from genetically stable inbred lines? I assumed most of them were from those lines due to their predictable characteristics. C57BL/6 being predictably kind of bitey for example
- A properly parameterized model shouldn't have the issue with having to nudge everything manually after a trivial change.
I had the change the height of an entire enclosure to accommodate a taller than anticipated PCB, and simply edited the sketch at the top of my design tree that defined the overall dimensions.
It took about 5 minutes to adjust the odd broken fillet and change some mates in assembly and it was done. No fidgety mouse movements. I actually do a lot of mech design on a laptop with a trackpad, arrow keys for view changes and numeric dimensioning for 95% of everything else.
- If you're familiar with industrial hazard mitigation, looking at how roadways are constructed is kind of crazy making.

If you need (emphasis on need - if it's not in the requirements, don't bother!) to make it smaller, you can fold the low power/compute section underneath the power section by putting it on another board and using either a mezzanine connector or FPC/FFC/ribbon cable to connect them.
You can also integrate the motor controllers directly onto your PCB and give them a combined thermal solution i.e. one heatsink with one fan if needed.
But likely your effort is better spent on making the rest of the printer rather than this :)
- I've been buzzed by a flight of military helicopters in the New Mexico desert. Not intentionally, they just happened to overfly my tent, and I just happened to have cell service somehow. I checked ADSB and sure enough they were flying dark.
- Retro reflective material will do the trick. Try a retroreflective hi-viz vest on the headrest.

I consumed essentially audio shitposts and DJ mix sets on SC, stuff that you're not going to find published in a pirateable form...
- Uhhh. Unless people are now using SC completely differently from how I was using it, the media people publish on SC is far too niche to be available via piracy.

- I have gotten so sick of Google Maps that I've done the unthinkable, and have started walking around the city trying establishments at random.
It has yielded quite good results basically immediately. People (myself included) have gotten too used to living In The Box. Putting aside the time to just go for a walk around and pop into random shops and pubs has been wonderful.

It's a lot of blueberries. But I can afford $60/month in frozen blueberries. Plus they're tasty. Also antioxidants or whatever.
