Believe me, if I had even a modicum of influence to leverage anywhere, I would be fighting tooth and nail against AI as much as I can
Instead I just growl impotently in comment threads online like this one and hope this new technology finds some kind of equilibrium before it fucks us all over
But it's really tough to feel helpless watching this massive capital machine just grinding over society, knowing how much it is fucking things up
Maybe, MAYBE AI turns into a wonderful technology that ushers in a post scarcity utopia but I can't help but feel we're in for a few years, maybe even a few decades of extreme pain before that comes about
