As far as I can tell, some fraction of Quanta articles are as much a profile of the person as an account of the work, so they send out a photographer. The results are similar regardless of gender. Here are similar treatments given to dudes in the past ~year, for example [1, 2, 3].

I was just answering the question posed above. I don’t think I’ve broken any rules. It just seems like you’re uncomfortable with my opinion.
